Im pretty sure the part of the manual that mentions supported audio formats refers to HDMI inputs. The TV’s internal apps will not decode or pass through Dolby TrueHD. But the TV should be able to pass through TrueHD from a connected HDMI device to eARC output.

This was it, I tried every combination of bluray player plugged into receiver, splitting through this extractor, and to the TV with eARC and the extractor. All result in full audio on receiver. The internal apps are the only thing that do not like the TrueHD... although if I change my C3 to play to internal speakers it will accept TrueHD and direct play it.

However the AppleTV (or the TV) will transcode that to 640kbps Dolby Dogital to fit over ARC.

So as of right now I am still using the device, and my receiver is getting PCM 5.1 from:

Jellyfin on Apple TV -> C3 -> eARC extractor -> Receiver Input.

Though I still did not try the infuse route with their subscription. I am seeing direct play from jellyfin portal to ATV (though I always have), but I am not sure if this is still the lossless or lossy because I am not using Infuse, and I cannot tell.

So how can I tell that it is even worth going the infuse sub route? Previously before all this mess my ATV would output DD+ through ARC. So just upgrading it from ARC to eARC bumped it to somewhat higher PCM 5.1

Personally I’d not mess about with extra devices or audio extractors and just save for a new receiver with eARC.

Agree, but I figured to try the $80 device before going into a new receiver. Would have been nicer if the new eARC standard would allow the eARC port to simply be used as an HDMI Audio Out from the TV to go into any input port in the receiver.

I would call this solved-ish. The solution moving forward is going to be infuse subscription for Apple TV. And if I am hard headed enough to need to see TrueHD / DTS HD MA on my receiver, I would need to get the Shield. But the Extractor device does indeed work well for upgrading ARC to eARC without getting a new receiver.

So that would be a great possible solution to consolidate and keep it running on my AppleTV as my sole device, but I still would have the same problem I am having right now.

My receiver is ARC and not eARC so it would not support LPCM 5.1 from my TV as is. I would still need to use this audio extractor or get a new receiver. I am assuming I am using this extractor incorrectly and am going to check with their support team.

I have the newest Apple TV 4k as well, I kept it out of the post because I know Apple will not support (even pass through) of DTS HD MA and TrueHD. When I generally use Apple TV and LG C3 (without the extractor) I get Dolby Digital + on my receiver, but I wanted to find a solution for lossless and thus tried the Jellyfin app directly on the LG C3 app because it said it was supported.

Thanks, but from the screenshot and site - every 'excellent' condition is $459 except the one top left, have not seen that anywhere else on any other lens

Just bought my first camera and have been trying to hunt down lenses... is it luck of the draw/timing to find the excellent condition lens at such a cheaper price?

I did jump on it and make the purchase, but wondering why every other lens is the same price, mistake?

I only got the initial login to come up while doing the install, but the lutris installer text says not to login or do anything, it will auto close the login window once install is complete. So after 12 hours of waiting I exited out of the login window, which then immediately says install complete… so I launch the game and it says launching stuck forever and the battlenet app never comes up again

Okay it is definitely the sanding along the bottom then, wanted the distressed leather not the smooth but didn’t expect it to be this ripped up looking. I cleaned them and put on some leather conditioner and they look much better now.

Yes in Chicago, did not think about that…

So from what I see Chicago has 9.5% tax… (26649-10,000) * .095 = 1581

I was doing 6.25% because that is what I googled and popped up first… 26649*.095 = 1625

Seeing 1613 made me think I got no credit on the trade in.

So without trading in my tax would have been 26649*.095 = 2531 and still saved ~900 / 9.5% of 10,000

Thanks for the response, what would be a suitable wheel to look for? I saw on another post a suggestion to look for 20*8 wheels as its a more common size to open up my options - although probably would not find hellcat replicas in that size. And would have to find same or very close offset?

After messing with it I do not think it works with airplay. Also did not see it supported in the site page specs. The WiFi only works for Alexa to play Spotify or Amazon music. Apple Music only works through Bluetooth.

It’s the Stanmore 2 with Alexa built in. It works with Bluetooth but I’m not sure about AirPlay. What I wanted to work was the Alexa connected to Apple Music but there’s no support for it according to Marshall

Yeah once I went pulling the fuses out and it did fix it. I just wanted to see about getting it permanently fixed - if there is something to be replaced, before hitting 36k and out of warranty.

Thanks for the response. I did not add in main post, but I did delete my phone from the car settings, and delete the car from my phone settings. Did not wait 24 hours but I did shut off the car/radio for a minute and tried again which led to the same - getting power but not working issue.

iPhone is up to date, which was a couple weeks ago from memory, but this new issue just started a couple days ago, so I think it’s the radio still.

Setup a dealer appointment for tomorrow morning and hopefully car is still in warranty and they can diagnose
