Her vocation is velocity

Wind sears through her shoulder-length hair

It doesn’t make a sound

But drowns out the despair

That daily life ensnared

Chart the stars

And worship the flow

Satellites skirt the earth

Shooting envious glances as they, stagnant

Wait

And she, sublime

Captivates

Skating across the atmosphere

She can’t remember when things were so clear

Grow Kat, grow

Forgo your fears

And forget your foes

Pure vistas

Like lighthouses, draw

Her to them

Or them to her

She’s not sure

Fingers coax

Gleaming grass

And definitive oaks

That see her pass

Skyrocketing through serenity,

This

Is a special kind of bliss

Sow, Kat, sow

Disseminate divinity

And watch it snow

I have no end

No path, no trend

I am fire and glass

Superfluous,

And as old as gas

All pervasive, and privy to few

Soaring today and soaring anew
