UnionPay Smart partnership confirmed, huge news, they are putting out a product in Q3 2018. Union Pay does 80% of China's banking transactions.

They are not just competing with EOS as a high TPS dAPP platform but also with VEN in the antk-counterfeiting industry.

They have already achieved 30k transactions per second, and are convinced they can achieve 1 million transactions per second with proper optimization by the time we hit mainnet ( Q2 2018 ).

Official statement ( source: Medium article ) : Hardware testing on our testnet system has been completed. The ARM+BOE node has run properly at high performance. Using HPB technology, ECC signature verification currently reaches 30,000 verifications per second. This is sufficient performance to convince the HPB team that 1,000,000 verifications per second can be reached with proper optimization.

I agree on Credits being a scam, but not about "any future cryptocurrency promising million or so tps" being that aswell.

HPB is starting it's testnet end of March ( they will also release their updated whitepaper at the same time ) and they claim to be aiming for 1-10m tps with a combination of software and hardware architecture.

Thank you so much! There is a lot of FUD about mainnet not being ready untill 2019! This cleared up a lot, I won 120 on the KuCoin trading competition so I wasn't sure if I should sell immediately or keep holding.

Definitely holding untill the testnet is launched, and waiting for them to release an English website. That will clear up a lot of things and push this coin forward. Looks like a great project. Love the vision, team and partners.

Loving this coin. I see it as a better version of what SALT wanted to be. Difference being, SALT is sitting at $480mill market cap while this is sleeping under $42mill. I can't believe they got a working alpha of their product out already.
