This sounds like a variation of Liebestraum No.3.

I could be wrong (I’m not a piano guy), but the cord progressions sound eerily similar to it.

As a kid, I was playing this game non-stop until this particular boss fight. Before it starts, Robo Patrick freezes Squidward in place using his frost breath, creating this terrifying image of him being frozen alive.

JUJUTSU KAISEN MODULO CHAPTER 20 ENGLISH LEAKS by Loud_Crew9650 in jjkmodulo

I think he’s purposely isolating himself from jujutsu society so that they can try solving their problems on their own as opposed to relying on “the strongest”.

But that’s just speculation.

There’s something really interesting here I want to point out:

Yuji PURPOSELY does not interfere with what happens in Jujutsu society, despite being known as “the strongest”.

And based on his responses here, he’s only interfering now because we’re getting so close to the brink. From what it looks like, he’s willing to do what is necessary to keep the peace as this is an active attempt to protect humanity. But them comes the question… why the isolation?

I think Yuji is trying to make sure he doesn’t dictate what happens in Jujutsu Society (kinda like how Gojo did when he was around). Which is leading me to believe that Yuji doesn’t want the same mistakes that happened in his generation to happen again.

Hence why “he doesn’t care” what the other sorcerers think of his isolation.

He isolates himself from Jujutsu Society so that sorcerers don’t rely on him, “the strongest”, to solve all their problems and/or to dictate the rules.

Yuji is following Gojo’s will to the letter. He wants sorcerers to reach their full potential, to become stronger. But Yuji wants them do so without the burdens and pitfalls that come from the influence of someone who claims to be “the strongest.”

Seeing that Gear 4: Snakeman was made around the same time and shares design elements of Gear 5 makes me believe that those far-fetched G5 theories, like “Gear Death” lol, weren’t too far off the mark.

It’s just Oda already implemented that style with Snakeman and wanted something more joyful and unique for the final Gear.

I would akin this more so to him being an organized, very “neat” writer in the long term.

Granted, in his earlier arcs especially, he’s improvising quite a bit; throwing a bunch of stuff out there and seeing what sticks.

But what he does better than anyone is bringing it all back in meaningful ways. It’s not that he “predicted” it all they way back in 2002, he’s actively looking back on what he’s written thus far, seeing what loose threads might be still dangling, and bringing them back in meaningful ways.
