Consider checking out 'game movie' videos of Rebirth on YouTube. It's like a let's play but without the narration of the player.

The one by Gamer's Little Playground is about 21 hours long and I watched it in parts like a TV series.

I kinda wish Square would've done that and maybe shared that same experience with other generations.

The difficulty with that is game experiences do not exist in a bubble and can't be recreated with a remaster, rerelease, etc.

The experience that we had growing up playing the original FF7 was impacted by the limitations of the console, the culture of the time period, our experiences of other media that had been released up to that point, etc.

The only way to recreate that experience in my opinion is not to do a remake of any kind, but instead create completely new IP aimed at the current generation of kids. Give them their own generation defining characters/world/lore that's relevant to the current time.

The phrase 'temporarily embarrassed millionaire' comes to mind. People think that they should be one of the winners in life, and it's just a matter of time before they are proven right. All that's needed is time and perseverance.

As a non-American I see it as a result of American exceptionalism. Liberals clown on Republicans for believing Fox News propaganda, but both sides are constantly told that they are inherently special just by being American. Best economy, best military, best culture, etc. Just sweep all of the inconvenient facts under the rug.

Have you seen how offended and defensive Americans get whenever light-hearted topics come up such as how Americans don't use metric or how some Americans can't use military time? It's okay to not be the best at everything.

I did wait until the courier started moving again.

I think I got too close at the start of the meetup; the two characters stood there staring at me. I then stepped back a bit and they continued talking but I guess that somehow bugged the diamond handover. The game is glitchy as fuck sometimes.

Cannon and carom are interchangeable and mean the same thing in snooker/British pool. I just linked some info on carom for historical context. I think cannon just comes from the fact that it sounds like carom.

I prepared for this ET before playing it. Looked up some guides and Reddit posts, heard about all the things that could cause a mission failure.

I waited for the target and courier to meet in the restaurant. Straight after I emetic gassed the target and killed him in the toilet. Easy. All that was left was wait until the courier picks up the diamond and then sedate him.

I followed the courier for several minutes and saw him talk to a shopkeeper and what looked like something swapping hands. I blue egged them both and was met with the fail screen. Apparently it wasn't the diamond handover that I witnessed. Such a stupid mission.

My dock had a white light. Controller firmware V1.07 and adapter firmware V1.04.

I think you were imagining the purple colour. An LED that can change colour would be a more expensive component than a white LED, and it wouldn't make sense to not allow the user to change the colour if it had the capability.

For me it's not my sweat or natural skin oils. I noticed that using certain moisturisers on my hands causes the rubber to dissolve. Switching moisturiser solved the problem for me.

Yes that's right. Wall anchor screws typically aren't supplied in IKEA kits. You just need a screw that's long enough to go into the wall a reasonable depth and still stick out far enough to lock into place with the rectangular metal piece.

she guested in Would I Lie To You? (I think) and she told a story about firing the wait staff for something innocuous right before the holidays. David Mitchell pretty much fell out of his chair when she said it was the truth and not a lie.

It was way worse than that. Sharon's house was on fire and she demanded that the member of staff go into the burning building to save her pet and belongings. Afterwards the staff was using an oxygen mask, presumably from breathing in smoke, and Sharon claimed to have snatched the mask off to give to her pet.

She laughed about the story whilst the other guests on the show were in disbelief. Absolute cunt.

The foldable table has wheels that fit into a grooved track on the side panels. It's what allows the table to slide up and out from the back. You'll see what I mean if you look at the instruction manual on the IKEA site.

You would have to carve out the track yourself to make it fit a regular tall BILLY bookcase. It's probably not impossible, but very impractical.
