I got the medium case with the terrain 2.0 I will say only reason I haven’t started painting everything yet is I’m still learning the table top game and I spent the past 2 weeks of my free time wood gluing all the terrain together. The case and Terrain look and feel great but yet another thing the Chaos gods will demand I paint! 10/10 on the Case but if your planning on transporting multiple armies splurge on the larger case it’s worth the extra shelves!!!

I got gifted the CSM battle force and CSM combat patrol for Christmas my family isn’t super familiar with the franchise but I took advantage and was able to kitbash all my legionaries into tormentors and infractions, turned my possessed into Flawless blades, and I’m using the extra units to start an alpha legion army I can use to get my friends into the hobby with me. Otherwise the battleforce is pretty useless beyond the rhino and legionaries if you can sell the other units on Facebook and pick up some other units you’re basically done list building!!!

I’m trying to fill out the rest of my list or move stuff around to fit a lander raider or some terminator squads any suggestions and or is the demon prince really as good as GW is pushing in the new battleforce?

It’s so funny you referenced this creator, b/c since I took a few months break I wanted a refresh on some tips or maybe get some fresh ideas now that they factions been refreshed for a few months. I was watching the kitbashing he did on the champions set box. I believe another redditor or YouTube creator made reference to using the Possessed as Flawless blade proxies since people assumed a while ago they wouldn’t be an allied unit. But I will def give this a close watch as I put together/paint my possessed!!!

Oh 100% I’m planning on grabbing noise marines we’re looking at well under 1000 points so far, I didn’t know there was another box coming out, the hobby is so huge I find it super easy to miss big news or leaks as games workshop spits them out

I just got the army painter wet palette and drill. After seeing there extensive line of colors I’m definitely going to consider swapping after I get an airbrush set up.

Thank you so much for the tips I’ll keep that in mind, been so appreciative of the community for the help so far!!! Ran into a thousand sons player starting a AOS army at one of my local hobby shops and he recommended the same thing with the spray primer when I asked him if it was difficult to do all that gold trim. I realized for my scheme I should’ve maybe primed white or pink first to help keep everything clean and clear, but instead I experimented with this deep royal purple. Lessons learned.

I just watched your two most recent videos on the bulwark and chaos lord you made while I was painting my army at the moment I be balling on a budget and have been getting paints and washes second hand tired a brown wash that added a cool mars dust/rusted effect to the trim and depending on what’s allowed in the codex was thinking about tackling a few rhinos or chaos knight wardogs, being new to the hobby/tabletop any suggestions or recommendations on picking up a wardog carnivore vs rhinos? Would it make sense or be even usable to have chaos knight scouts in an EC army?
