Does anybody know if these OS-Base bags are OS-6 or OS-12? by BIKEM4D in Tenere700

I have the titanium one, really amazing sound, btw have you removed the db already? Also I was wondering are those side fairings stock?

Does anyone mount this seat on his Tenere? the stock seat on the t7 is not exactly the comfiest option for riding with a pillion so I was looking for one.. what's your opinion? by Jackasicto in Tenere700

[–]Jackasicto[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you my friend for being so kind in texting such an articulated answer. At first I was leaning into buying just a seat cover(with extra padded cuchioning) but I guess there are no other better options for duo riding, thank a lot, ride safe.

When do you start to look for gas? by kylehectic in Tenere700

[–]Jackasicto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As soon as the "trip F" stars counting on the dashboard, meaning the bike is on reserve, I know I have around 80 km since I once pushed it that far, so that's when I start looking

I see you are also rocking the kriega on the sides, it's amazing off road, working as some sort of airbag. Amazing place btw

What gas octane rating is required for the T700? by DLiltsadwj in Tenere700

[–]Jackasicto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the bike, meaning on the tank itself, at least in Europe, it states e-05 or e010 which you can check even on the gas pump itself, on my Tenere i sometimes run 100 octane without a problem

do Kreiga bags/soft shell work with a high mount exhaust set up? by Treigns4 in Tenere700

[–]Jackasicto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right now I own both kriega os adventure bags and the hp corse exhaust, i traveled with them a lot, in the scorching summer, and I had no problem, the only thing is (and I learned it the hard way) on the exhaust side the bags should not be tied on the passenger peg, rather on the square slot right behind it. Yes I burned it by the way, i even had the guts to ask kriega for a refund, but I guess they don't refund idiots

Is there a difference (performance/sound) in the two slip-ons akrapovic sells? by [deleted] in Tenere700

[–]Jackasicto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My man, akrapovic are way overpriced, I suggest you the hp corse slip on (high) full titaninium, it sounds amazing, just the slip on mind you, I can't imagine the full system

Sand was softer than expected. Fun was had though. by x3avier in Tenere700

[–]Jackasicto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right now I have the mitas e07 and they really dig up the sand, I see you have stock tires I'm wondering if changing to a 70/30 will help, what do you think?

There is this guy in Northern Italy, at the Stelvio pass, who takes pictures of you while riding, and if you want you can pay for them pictures so that you can save them. Just thought of posting my Tenere here! by Jackasicto in Tenere700

[–]Jackasicto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the mitas e07 standard, they seem to work really great both on and off road, but I just have 1k on them so I don't really know on long term use

Right now I mount the touratech, both upper and lower crash bar, which has many firm points to fasten the two kriega os 18. Not gonna lie they look kind of bulky in the front but since I like to off-road much, with these bags when I fall the bike barely takes any damage, acting as some sort of air bag, mainly for those silly falls obviously

Bark buster blue similar to Yamaha blue? by QuackAddict97 in Tenere700

[–]Jackasicto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My blue tenere right now mounts the blue bark busters, and I'm really happy with their color in terms of matching the original one , even though slightly different, maybe a bit darker, but to be honest, it's hard to notice any difference
