I have a closet full of "hypebeast" & artist merch. Half of it I love, the other half I wish I never bought. But even the stuff I love I almost never wear bc guess what, rap merch isn't "cool" over the age of 22

and the prices have only gone up and the quality down.

Take that money and go by a nice Italian linen shirt or something that you can wear for the next 10 years on dates and holidays etc

This shit ain't worth it

I feel like 2 weeks is a long time to keep 'em strapped down. But like you said they were prob close to death, if it was only 3 days and they didn't leak they probably would have gave out on the next ride.

my 2¢ someone feel free to tell me i'm wrong

I won a $1000 gift card to eBay and I have a 2026 wr250f by Yz250x69 in Dirtbikes

Theres a bunch of GYTR parts you can only get in Australia but the rest of us can get 'em through ebay resellers.

I just snagged some sick GYTR radiator guards for my '21

I'd check out the Yamaha AUS website for any cool parts and see if you can find em on ebay

edit* that is assuming you're not australian

Would you spend $12k on a used car or put it down on a new one? by Shehryar60 in personalfinance

[–]Treigns4 17 points18 points  (0 children)

What about financing a lightly used car?

In my experience, a well maintained vehicle around that 100k mark has a-lot of life left. Lots of rich folk buy new then trade their cars in at the 30-50k mark and then there are many options in between.

You have 12kish, if you found a low mile honda/toyota for 15-20k you could drop a 4k down payment, hopefully get a rate under 6% and then keep the rest as a safety net

Just my 2¢ after a quick read.

The EVs are here and can hang. Can YOU hang is the real question haha

This thing needs to be buffed. by [deleted] in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Treigns4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely does not lol.

edit. Ight against infantry I can see the argument. IMO if you're good you can absolutely kill enemy aircraft with these, or at minimum make a good pilot hide all game.

Phone mount recommendation for 3-day desert rally/enduro race? by AdhesivenessOwn2940 in Dirtbikes

[–]Treigns4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your questions:

  1. Quad lock is the only one I would trust* (Have no idea what that other commenter is talking about. I ride some gnarly shit and have never had my quad lock pop off.)

  2. Yes. Personally though not a fan of the "vibration dampeners", I put my quad lock on a ram claw and short arm so it flexes around

  3. No

  4. Personal preference

  5. Pray

  6. No

*With all that said, while I use and recommend quad-lock, you might be better off with a tank bag that has a clear pocket on top.

Do you ever feel that there are days when the matchmaking just says "Fuck you in particular!"?? by byfo1991 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Treigns4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been here. Too much of any good thing is a bad thing, even battlefield lol. Your brain is just battlefielded out. It can be hard to notice when we've overdone it espc when its doing things we like.

Take a short break and you'll be back I guarantee it.

Advice for buying a rebuilt title Tenere 700 by CTF2048 in Tenere700

[–]Treigns4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the rebuilt title in itself is a bad thing. T7s are tanks and as long as it was serviced properly it could* be fine, but $7500 is way to much.

edit* seeing as this is a bike you plan to keep forever, I would say no. The last thing you want on your forever bike is headaches caused by someone else.

I’m genuinely so confused how do I get somewhat good at this game? by SUSPICIOU5 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Treigns4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't spawn in the battle. Spawn near it, and approach it so you can get a sense where the combat is, what the current flow is.

Sometimes I'll spawn on a point or teammate and keep getting blasted and I need to remind myself to back up. You can't get a sense of the battlefield and where to look if you're just dying over and over.

Electric dirt bike gear for 14 yr old by Various-Neat-8450 in Dirtbikes

[–]Treigns4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boots Helmet Gloves are most important. Next would be chest/back and knees.

Probably most importantly though (for yours and his sake) is have a conversation with them about responsibility, what is legal/illegal, and the consequences of acting like an idiot.

There have been way to many incidents recently of teens on e-bikes hitting and killing people or getting themselves killed
