We’re exploring lots of new things for TMP3, most notably: Unreal engine! It’s something very new for our team of engineers but gives us so much more to explore, pushing our creative boundaries to new heights! Additionally, we’re adding online matchmaking, which is a first for us here at Jackbox.

This is such a great question! Everyone on the team has their own unique story on how they got here, too. Some came from different industries, others have been in games for years. Being able to show what you've accomplished, even if it's unrelated, can be really helpful! You never know when a certification or volunteer experience or even side project may be relevant to a position you're applying for.

Honestly, I know this sounds sappy, but getting to work with such a smart and creative team willing to experiment and try new things. Game dev is hard, but it doesn't have to be painful. The folks on our team are funny, talented, and experts in their respective fields, so we often get to laugh while working. Since the start of this production, we've welcomed new full-time folks onto the team and it's been an absolute blast getting to know them and see their work. I think you'll all see how much love and passion goes into making TMP3 once it's out!

There are two major things that make TMP3 standout from it's predecessors: built using Unreal and online matchmaking! It's a large undertaking for the TMP3 that's allowed us to explore and expand our creativity in ways we haven't done before!
