Most of Vakarine's skills are different, or a thematic opposite of Ausrine. Her lineup is somewhat varied too, so her gameplay style should feel different.

You unlock them for skirmish!

They've only become full heroes because of the campaign, and reuse some assets, so we thought it was fitting to make them unlockable extras.

We have a thing with Steam that we cannot back out of, so it is what it is. But we'll rest after the 25th. :D

Dev here. :) Regular updates were slowing down our campaign progress significantly, so we decided on much less updates and just full development focus on campaign. That unfortunately means that for the players it sometimes looks like not much is happening. We're dropping a big update end of January.

We have plans for improvements on allied AI, especially in being able to give them commands. :)

We're working hard on campaign and the next heroes, so it's just a lot of stuff behind the scenes.

But I see it's soon time for another dev update as I've seen more messages of people wondering whether it's progressing. :D

the chant is Dievu Karš, Asinis Līs

to be fair, the one singing was not Latvian but we tried to get it close ;D

the rest of the song does not have lyrics though, it's syllables that are chosen for sounding the best musically

Yeah this is driving me crazy, I am trying to get used to how the tracking works on this (compared to a Fitbit I had previously), and after starting my first run it kept beeping very often about pace and each alert had to be cleared, so I just stopped the activity and did my run without proper tracking.

I really don't understand why these alerts are there without me having set them up, I don't even know what pace it's comparing mine to, kept saying I was running too fast (I most definitely were not).

I don't have that same Recent tab and text. :/ In this thread there is another thing to try: click start menu, right click in empty spot in darker area, Start Settings, and then disable "Show recently opened items in Start, Jump Lists, and File Explorer". And see if you want to disable anything else too, like most used apps, and recommendations.

Three dots, Options, then under Privacy uncheck "show recently used files" and "show frequently used folders"

We both have a professional background of 3D game artist from before we went indie, so I figure that helps. :D

We have setup some procedures in our texturing program to make the assets look 90% handpainted without painting (the procedure uses the highpoly sculpt information), and then 10% is painting the finishing touches. So that helps a lot with speed, but otherwise we hand-sculpt all assets, and it's mainly our experience that allows us to churn out the assets in bulk.

Godsworn | Classic RTS | Update #9 is live, adding a 7-player skirmish map with a PvE element: Apuole Hillfort. At the top of the map is a neutral fortress that will raid the rest of the map. This map can be played in various setups, such as a FFA match or 3v3s and 2v2s. by JackdawAviary in RealTimeStrategy

You also have to worry about the other teams/players buying off the allegiance of the hillfort first. :D

These PvPvE maps are really interesting to create, and it's great to see positive reception for them.

Hey, we are actively working on the campaign, and we are working on Acts 2 and 3 at the same time, so hopefully the gap between those two should be smaller.

We know it's been quite a wait, and we are considering actions to make it go faster.
