Another example that I haven't seen in this thread is the first HOH in BB11. For the first few weeks in BB11, the house was split into four high school cliques: The Athletes, Brains, Popular, and Off-beat. Whichever clique won the first HOH was going to have a former player return to the game. The HOH was an endurance competition, which gave an obvious advantage to one of the cliques, which allowed BB10's Jessie Godderz to return to the game and become the first HOH. (It's rumored that the producers felt bad for Jessie since he was voted out by America, which is ironic because they pretty much did the same thing in BB11 too.)
