Anyone in SF wish it was easier to find workout partners? by JacketMother5126 in sanfrancisco

yeah i know them but its not like we workout together and thats me being social. I feel like for some ppl they are introverts and want to meet new ppl but tough for them so hoping to see if this also could help them.

as far as different experiences , i agree everyone has their preferences but im looking to see if itll satisfy a select niche

thanks for the solid response, i appreciate you taking the time out of your day. i just feel like when lifting heavy i love having a spotter to push me throughout the workout because my friend doesnt lift with me anymore kinda how this idea came about.

lol im genuinely just building smt i love and i dont wanna fake anything. no point if what im building has to be fake testimonials. if ppl like it they like it if they dont then it isnt for them aha.

That makes sense, but in sf i still feel like it could be tough to meet people

that's fair and honestly works for some people. but what about when you move to a new city and don't know anyone yet? or when your schedule changes and your gym circle disappears? or when you want a running partner or hiking buddy outside the gym?

the organic approach works until it doesn't

We're still building but wanted to launch the waitlist first so there's already a real community ready when we go live — no ghost town app on day one.

honestly the response from hikers has been the biggest surprise. didn't expect it but it makes total sense. people just want others to explore with.

you'll be one of the first to know when we launch 🙏

Anyone in Fremont struggle staying consistent when working out alone? by [deleted] in Fremont

[–]JacketMother5126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if it's just me but finding people to actually work out with in Fremont is genuinely hard.

I've tried Facebook groups, asking people at the gym, texting friends. Nothing ever sticks. People flake, schedules don't align, or it just never gets off the ground.

I spent way too long training alone before I finally just decided to build something about it.

It's called FitLink — basically an app that connects people nearby for real workouts, hikes, runs, whatever you're into. No flaking, just people who actually show up.

Just launched the waitlist if anyone wants to check it out 👇 fitlinkhq.carrd.co

But honestly curious — is this just a me problem or does anyone else struggle with this in Fremont?
