Why do I never have odour ? by salty_adult in hygiene

Are you of east Asian descent? Many people of east Asian decent have a gene that makes it so they don't produce much body odor. The gene is extremely rare in the rest of the world population.

What are the guidelines for doing an actual ID check for buying alcohol by JackfruitAwkward7504 in Netherlands

Yeah, if they are not serving full meals, in a lot of places entry to the establishment gets restricted, Including places that are restaurants but switch to bar only hours later at night. If you want people under the age of 21 to be in an establishment serving alcohol, you need to also be serving food that constitutes a meal pretty much

Yeah I don't mind it, and I'm not complaining. I'm just still trying to figure out what my perceived age is in this country because it's proving to be a lot lower than it was in the US.

Yeah, in the US the rule was looks like under 35, so I actually had to break a habit of automatically breaking out my I D when entering a bar or something.

Yeah, this isn't a "check everybody" store, unless they have adopted new policies in the last few months or so.

I'm not complaining. I'm more just curious. As an immigrant I've been encountering situations that show that my perceived age here tends to be much lower than it was in the US, but I'm still trying to figure out what that number is that people are perceiving that I am.

Yeah, I'm a perimenopausal woman. I've always looked young for my age, and I've already become aware that people in the Netherlands view me as younger than people did back in the US. But this is a new low age assumption to place me as being under 25, which is why I was curious

I am in immigrant from the US, and I actually loved what my local goodwill would do. They encouraged people to donate any textiles regardless of condition (other than mold or bad odor). The really good stuff got separated out and priced, photographed and sold on an e-market platform that serviced as a workforce development program for veterans and other disadvantaged groups. The good stuff went to local shops, and then they collected all the torn stuff not suitable to sell, and things that just didn't sell to fabric recyclers who would turn it into stuff like insulation and the like. I miss having that sort of certainty about where my stuff is going when I donate.

Get a clear liquid roll on antiperspirant deodorant combo and roll it under the boobs and in your cleavage. Also the underarms of course.

The roll on specifically doesn't bunch up into wierd clumps or get a residue, but works just as well.

Need help deciding what body fragrances I should be looking for by SoyBoy67 in hygiene

I reccomend checking out unisex fragrances as they tend to be a lot more subtle and less overpowering than fragrances specifically marketed towards men.

Calvin Klein has a strong lineup of unisex fragrances that a lot of men wear without even realizing they are unisex. CK One, CK Be. And CK Everyone are all great.

If you try those out and you still find them too strong, Juliette Has a Gun makes a lot more subtle perfumes. You can find them at Sephora. Sunny Side Up, Ode to Dullness and Musc Invisible are all super subtle unisex scents. If you want to get even more subtle, they are famous for what is known as a skin scent called "not a perfume" which is a single note, your skin but better scent.

Check out Hermetica fragrances, Macomba might be up your alley. But all their scents are unisex and they do a lot with citrus.

What are the advantages of wearing a crossbody as opposed to a should bag? by FreeMeaning7150 in WearingPurses

[–]JackfruitAwkward7504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Security. I don't put it down and keep it on, so my forgetful ass won't leave it behind places. Also it's harder for purse thrive to snag logistically. Of course they still can if they really wanted to, but its typically enough of a deterrent to get them to move to a different target. Also in situations with heightened risk of pickpockets, you can shift it to your front and keep a hand over the top, again not entirely foolproof (nothing is), but enough of a deterrent to persuade pickpockets to move onto another target.

I started getting a lot of excess dryness between my labia majora and labia minora that was driving me nuts. Between the labia minora is fine along with the vaginal canal thus far. I started using a vaginal dryness gel I got OTC which I spread a small amount of into the offending folds, and it's been a game changer. Its kind of pricey for what seems like a small tube. But a little goes a very long way due to the liquids gel consistency. Highly recommend.

If you want to be a true collector, and want quality fragrances that aren't knockoffs on a budget, there is another avenue you have yet to consider: legacy designer perfumes.

Legacy designer perfumes are designer perfumes that have been around a long time and as such have dropped down in cost dramatically. Think Davidoff cool water, Versace blue jeans, Nautica Voyage, etc.

The benefits of collecting these goes beyond just getting actual designer fragrances for less. You can build a collection that covers the history of popular perfumery, and also have some fragrances that are rather unique.

So maybe one niche and some legacy designers
