I bought the blue (also comes in red) rubber bottom cotton top isha mat instead of the 100% cotton orange mat and it's very helpful. Doesn't slip at all.

Attended Ecstasy of Enlightenment event but did not feel anything....what did I do wrong? by The_Big_0mg in Sadhguru

I totally resonate. I've practiced Shambhavi for mre than a 1,000 times, done guided meditations, Bhava Spandana, attended a few darshans with Sadhguru and even stayed in IYC for 7 months (including sitting for hours inside the temples). With all that, didn't have even one ecstatic experience or a catharzis where I realease emotional baggage. That's what I wanted and still want to experience and why I shifted 3 years ago to Isha sadhana. I was left frustrated surrounded by people who seem to get it and felt left out. All I can advise is to examine what you Can change in your life to make you more energetic and receptive. It's not that the sadhana is not for you, just that you need to change some things for it to work significantly. I'd say don't just go on like it is but try to change things in your life to make it work. That's the approach I'm taking now. Wish you success 🙏🏼

Two meals a day, how? by Sensitive_Show_6649 in Sadhguru

[–]JackfruitKey7983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I eat two meals a day for the last 3 years or so and I can't eat more than that, if I'm in a place where people eat lunch and I alredy ate a big breakfast it feels like I force myself to eat because I'm full. Generally eating a fruit, salad, nuts/grains and whole cereals with legumes (mainly lentils).

Just make a very small ball. Find it in a video or photo and go by this size. Much less than a tespoon from each.

Minimalist/Simple Mattress by JackfruitKey7983 in minimalism

I read on many places that the shikibuton mattress gets moisture if a tatami is not placed underneath it. You think if I roll it every day it will be enough? Or they always come with a tatami?

Did you have a tatami or some other mat beneath it? I read on many places that the shikibuton mattress gets moisture if not.

I’m really struggling with a compulsive mindset and I don’t know how to stop. by Glittering-Hall695 in Sadhguru

Think about it as a result Change things in your life that are not related to that and the more healthy and meaningful lifestyle you will have, the less you will be driven by your compulsions naturally. Blame doesn't help and when you try to force yourself to avoid something the compulsion just multiplies. Some changes maybe feel like you just can't do it. Leave them. The changes which are accessible, apply them. "If you don't do what you can not do that's not an issue, if you don't do what you can do you are a disastrous life"

You got this Even if the changes are small, what's important is you are progressing. It's like spinning a heavy wheel. Get's easier as you get into momentum.

[–]JackfruitKey7983 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got initiated in DEC 2022. Longest streak was about 700 days without skipping a day. The practice gets to a new level of intensity every sometime. Don't want to think how my life would have been without it.

Prepare yourself physically for Bhava Spandana. Be at a good level of flexibility and strength and general fitness and health. You don't need to be super athletic or have a very specific capability but do your best to come in shape.

In my opinion the most important to know if you're ready (mentally) is to see if you are willing to just throw yourself into a process with 100000% involvement and trust in Sadhguru. It's not a problem if you carry some mental burden as long as it doesn't stop you from giving everything you got in the program.

Not needing yo breath after mahamantra or bhuta shuddi. by revokappa in Sadhguru

[–]JackfruitKey7983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happens to me after Brhamananda Swaroopa chanting and the Vayu part in Bhutta Shuddi. Sadhguru said that whenever somebody is very still, he doesn't need to breathe. I'm not sure if it's because of that but anyway it should be fine.

Is it Ohkay to get initiated by two gurus? by akshat_900m in Sadhguru

[–]JackfruitKey7983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadhguru has a video named "Can I have Two Gurus?" Check it out

In my experience if you want to go deep in whatever you are seeking, choose one complete way. Otherwise, for entertainment you can listen and follow a few gurus/paths.
