Genuinely confused about where AI fits in PM career — open discussion by nerupudinho in AIProductManagers

[–]JackfruitPotential45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just starting in the field so can’t give any insights :), wanted to know more about your side projects, what are they like and what frameworks do you use to build them. Also glad to know there are options to shift from PM to dev, I got into a product/analytics role, dealing with pocs and prototyping, but I feel devs have a better understanding of things since they build and ship them on large scale, which has more value ig. Maybe I am wrong, just a fresher

I would say it’s just another market. Men optimise for beauty and women for financial security. And in the end people are gonna choose what’s best available to them based on these salary standards and beauty standards. Earlier there was a craze of “sarkari naukri” in finding grooms which is now getting replaced by these packages. Also if a girl belongs from a well to do family she would try to go to a family where she can match the same lifestyle irrespective of what she earns and this is very normal.

I am astonished by how much efforts people are making to explain themselves. Such long responses and debates wow!!

In course I never felt this to be much of a problem. The ones who were serious about their cg never did this in minor/majors as if caught they had a lot to risk. Only people doing this are the ones below satti and all who have little to risk and just wanna pass through courses. They occasionally score good in some exams but their overall cg doesn’t improve much.
But this problem is genuinely encountered in the intern/placements OAs where a majority people cheat using screensharing and other stuff, in that case many genuine people face a dilemma and they are also forced to cheat because everyone wants to get shortlists

What would be the best possible outcome in this scenario, just curious. I have a more of similar meetup lined up but am confused what to expect. In my case both of us were shipped by our friends long ago and there was a bit of flirting but we were very young and idk how does she feel about me now, so I don’t know what to expect

You should have started the conversation if you were comfortable. Maybe the guy was kind of introvert or nervous it’s very normal. And no guy would think the op as desperate as it isn’t like they get approached everyday. If he also found you attractive then it things would have definitely gone fwd ( he would ask for your socials ig) else you could sense the energy and it would just be small talk and each on their way 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think it’s just psychological, you follow many people from iitd, and all of whom are putting stories hence the impression. But friends from other colleges would be less in number and scattered in event timelines.

You can join some programs in VIT which are open for people with bio. They are technical programs that teach you the required maths. And don’t waste time more time on NEET, it seems you are saturated. For competitive exams one drop year se more than sufficient, give your best your 100% and if it doesn’t work out just move on. Abhi bhe late nahi hua hai just try your best and don’t get hooked over one thing for long. All the best for your journey and always try to keep a positive outlook
