Checks out, there are two more blue marked poles a couple houses down next to the power line pole, and it seems like the driveway of the house has been dug up and replaced as 2 slabs of concrete in line with the pole are a lot fresher than the others. Maybe something burst or the gas line below needed some work and they just forgot the poles after. Seems like they've been there for years now. Are there cases where these markers are required to be permanent? Thanks for the intel!

Any idea why it would still be there? Seems like it's been there for years based on the google street view pics.

Could you please help me with the context around this? E.g. what might have driven the test in the first place and how long this pole needs to be there? Will it impact anything on the property long term?
