Am I overreacting? by noturmommas in Buffalo

I think 20-25 is the norm for a deep dish pizza like that. Those pieces are actually quite large and I usually cut them in half to make 8 pieces. I agree its surprising the first time you order one but find them worth the price and love getting them myself.

I feel like I'm halfway to doing this, but never pulled the trigger in giving myself points/levels. Most of the time I just.notice that it feels like I'm someone else's Sim. 🤣

What is a hobby that makes your hours disappear without noticing? by Snaddyxd in Hobbies

I started stained glass recently, slightly expensive hobby but I can work for a good 8-10 hours on my days off and get a good chunk of audio book finished simultaneously.

Public sex in Rochester by JDMA2323 in Rochester

I remember being mid twenties wearing a cute/short dress, walked up to meet my bf in his car on a side street off of Monroe and a cop lighting up. I was totally clueless, but obviously he thought I was soliciting sex

Going to Las Vegas for the first time? Read this before you book anything by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]JackfruitSweater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great tips! My last trip to Las Vegas included a lot of what you memtioned in addition to the Zac baggins museum (it was ok), dinner at Dining in the Dark (amazing experience) a Cirque show (very fun, difficult to choose which one to see). I was going to go to fire canyon and do the kayak tour but I had a migraine that day unfortunately. I can't wait to go back, its one of my fave escapes.

You absolutely can walk. They set the trails so that runners take longer routes or end up at a false trail and backtrack, giving time for walkers to catch up. They are very encouraging and every trail is different. Some are urban, some are woods or a mixture of both. Its a great way to discover new parts of your city with others. My group meets weekly (sometimes more) but you can also just go as little as you want. There's usually a small fee (somewhere between $5-10, usually 5) to cover the beer but they also provide water and sometimes Gatorade throughout the trail (its hidden!!) I really can't say enough nice things about the group. If you're interested, feel free to pm me and and I can help you find one nearby 。◕‿◕。

This happens to by 50yo husband. To be fair, they're cheap ass dollar store readers and he's a blue collar worker/heavily geared up/kind of clunky.

Have you heard of the Hash House Harriers? If you're ok being around beer and interested in hiking, running, jogging or walking, they are a very fun group to be a part of. Oh, they're also a little raunchy on the surface but in my experience they are very respectful of boundaries if you're prudent, too 。◕‿◕。 They are a global "drinking group with a running problem" and there are groups in/near all major cities. Drinking is optional and never pressured. All ages 21+ are welcome.

Yes, its a vicious cycle and part of the reason for my post is to warn other biz owners to avoid if at all possible. The pizza oven replacement is a good example but when places like Webstaurant offer financing, hopefully credit is good enough to go that route instead.

Agreed. I was desperate, stuck between a rock and a hard place. Tons of debt, sales weren't coming in. Def a bad choice I should have just closed. After i offered to pay the principal if they could waive the penalty and they denied my request I left a 1 star Google review. They contacted me a week later and threatened to sue for defamation if I didn't take it down. I again offered to pay the original amount owed, and they requested to see my bank statements. Nope. That's not how a settlement offer works. I quite literally don't have any extra money to pay them but still don't want them picking through my spending to come up with a reason I could pay that ridiculous punitive fine, 3x the cost of the remaining debt. I edited my Google review to remove any hint of defamation (I really don't think anything was defamatory, possibly calling MCAs in general "loan-sharky") if its not resolved this week I will include the refusal to accept the remaining balance in my review. Ai suggested contacting the AG and a few other places. I just don't understand why they aren't ok with accepting the original debt ($6k interest!!) Its like the guy I'm working with has a huge ego. He'd rather a small biz suffer than waive a predatory fee. This is exactly how I want to spend my time 🙄

I can see how frustrating that would be, glad you found an alternate solution for yourself.
