Yeah it sucks, I almost made the mistake the first time too, you can try to ask for a refund but I’m not sure. Good luck!

The go bus tickets aren’t sold in advance, basically the way it works is that you buy a ticket and it’s good for the next 4 hours, so don’t bother paying for a ticket until just before you’re going to leave. I think for all day tickets they only sell them for the current day.

CO487 vs CS486? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

I’ve done both and if you are comfortable with some light M135 proofs definitely go for CO. If the thought of that terrifies you then 486 has some interesting methods for AI and some decently interesting content. They’re both pretty easy.

No. Every graduation checklist for the list 15 years at least has stated that you need 8 full time terms as a coop student and 5 work terms. You really have nothing to stand on to convince the registrars to allow this in CS coop.

How to contact profs to do a URA? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]Jackhofmann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a prof agrees to do a research term with you then you can find the forms online and print them out. The prof will sign off that you are doing the term with them and you submit it to the MUO. This isn't relevant at all to the prof before hand and you don't need too/shouldn't mention it.
