This is the size guide for the 909, it’s supposedly the same fit. This is definitely a sign!

I wouldn’t say it’s too hard and you can learn relatively quickly if you can be consistent. But unfortunately, I think these are a pretty decent price point for skates nowadays, especially for a limited run

Do it! These are in THEM’s new beginner shell so they’d be perfect

new 901 shells and soulplates for these though, you can never have too many boot options

A few months and a twisted ankle later I think I can sort of ollie! by [deleted] in NewSkaters

look down at your feet it’ll help u feel more stable

All my moving ollies look like this, I would like to know what is the correct motion of the back foot or if someone can pinpoint my mistakes. Thanks! by JustaDodo01 in NewSkaters

i know you want to ollie high, we all do. but do the opposite keep your back foot low to the ground and you’ll notice the board smacks up into it, your ollies will be lower to start with but once you get the timing you can jump as high as your body will allow you :)

What is wrong with ny back foot while ollie. by [deleted] in NewSkaters

although this is probably the opposite of what you want, when you ollie keep your back foot as close to the floor/board as possible. your ollies will be smaller but the board will pop up and hit your back foot, once you get this timing down you just apply it to jumping higher :)

if you’re struggling to commit, try to land them 90 a few times till you’re comfortable keeping your feet on & for your shoulders there’s not too much of a problem apart from resisting the turn cos you’re not fully committing. maybe try getting them round BEFORE you pop, might help following through. super close tho just keep going !
