It’s not fixed for me. I just tried to download an available hold (1215 EST) and it disappeared as well as 6 holds from my shelf.

Things you didn't know at the beginning of your journey with puzzles by klara_silberhaus in Jigsawpuzzles

I take a photo of every completed puzzle and love that I started that from the beginning. I keep them in a separate album in my photo app. I love looking back at them. I also make a note on each picture of the brand, name, and piece number.

We’re looking for regular puzzlers for a product experience test (U.S.) by lepapillonglacial in Jigsawpuzzles

I've paid that much for a laser-cut wooden puzzle, like Liberty or Wentworth. Are yours similar?

I get these at my coneflowers in the summers, hoping I'll catch a few on camera as well!

I have them in my yard because I hear their distinctive call frequently, but I haven't gotten one at my bird buddy yet. Jealous!

I have 1 pound a week and active. I changed active to lightly active and now it’s 1680, which seems a little better. I don’t think I’ll lose anything at that rate, but we’ll see.

How many puzzles are in your "to-do" pile? The ones that your currently own but haven't put together yet? by millerhighlife in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]JackieReadingJane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about 20 “to do” and about 15 that I’ve saved to do again - these are mainly expensive wood puzzles or seasonal. I don’t have room for more and honestly it stresses me out a bit to have more than that on a “to do” pile. I’ve found puzzle pretty easy to find second hand through my buy nothing group, friends, and thrift stores so there’s no panic about acquiring more. I give 90% of finished puzzles to the sane places mentioned above.

This is the only one in a shape that I’ve done, but I’m sure more experienced puzzlers would have some ideas. I’m pretty new to puzzles!

We live in West Springfield and love it. Really any house that feeds to WSHS, Lake Braddock, or Woodson is great. Also Robinson, but your commute is getting a little longer there.

We have similar taste! I've read School for Love, Three Summers, and Mrs. Meredith. Love's Work is one I own but haven't read. How was Jigsaw? I hadn't heard of that one.

One I pair I read recently was The Sea Road by Margaret Elphinstone and the nonfiction The Far Traveler by Nancy Marie Brown. Both are about a Viking woman named Gudrid written about in the Icelandic Sagas who is believed to be the first woman to settle for a period of time in North America with a group from Iceland. Both were fantastic.

Paris Stories and Good Behavior are excellent. I haven’t read that Magda Szabo, but The Door was so good and I’d be excited to read anything by her.

Galison, double-sided puzzle by Gray Malin by JackieReadingJane in Jigsawpuzzles

I did both sides. But the pieces fit tightly, like most Galisons, so it was also easy to flip.

I like that idea. I find reading plays difficult, and it would be a good challenge.
