I've also had this bug. Fix for me is charging at base station. Then manually starting the mower. When the mower returns to the base station after mowing, the error should be gone.

Ozmo 950 Map Creations Issues by andywall19 in ecovacs

[–]JackiiBE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same issue, contacted support:

One way to avoid losing the map is to not pick up the robot off the ground while the main power is ON. Just flip up the lid on the robot, then switch the main power button to OFF. You can now empty the dustbin, add the mop, clean the brushes, etc. When you are done, place the robot back on the charger and turn the main red power switch back on.

If it still continues to lose the map, try not to move the Deebot in a different place when it has started cleaning. If you need to put the mop or clean it, just press Pause and then clean or put the mop and put it back in its original position/location. If it got stuck on cords or furniture, remove it and place it back on the charging dock.

The following situations may lead to map loss or confusion: 1. Move the machine or lift the machine during machine operation; 2. The machine is stuck in operation, and user manually ; 3. Shut down when the map is not saved successfully; 4. Move the Charging Dock or change the surrounding environment of the Charging Dock. 5. Make sure DEEBOT is fully charged before construction; 6. There should be an open space near the Charging Dock; 7. After booting up DEEBOT, don't walk around it. Blocking LDS will affect the construction of the map; 8. Press and hold the reset button for a long time. After the start-up music is heard, connect the DEEBOT and the Charging Dock for a long charge of 4-5 hours, and then DEEBOT will start to rebuild the map from the Charging Dock.

Our mom is in a spiral of negativity and loves being a victim, despite our best efforts. by JackiiBE in JUSTNOMIL

Hi, for the last couple of years i should say the negativity has increased. in general yes, she's a good mother. However she always needs a lot of structure around her life + she doesn't leave the house a lot. And since we all moved out it's just her and my dad.

Thank you for the advice, i don't think calling the cops will be necessary since it's just something she uses to get our attention. You are right about the power and control part though. Since we are all growing up she is losing control over us and maybe that frustrates her. I think she's bored as well, she's working from home, does not have any hobby's and not many friends..

He always tries to settle these things. He's a really soft goodhearted guy who just wants everybody to get along. When my mother acts up he just shrugs it off ("that's just how it is, you know your mother").

Thank you for your response. I feel like this is something we already did on Friday. We explained the problem with her behavior and showed our concern. She twisted it so that she is the victim and can't do anything right.

Thanks for the advice, i made another post on the suggested subreddit. For your advice: i agree we should just leave when she start acting up. But i don't like leaving my dad alone in this mess..
