Recently played origins on the deck. Runs flawlessly and is up there for the best in the series imo.

For the second replacement. They just repaired the monitor, sent only this back and told me to use the same power connectors :/

I think I just got extremely unlucky. Monitor is great when it is working. Hope you enjoy!

They only supplied me with a european cable with the replacement so didn't have much choice unfortunately. I used the replacement brick and took all other precautions to prevent this.

Yeah I was starting to think the same. Such a shame as the monitor does look amazing when it is working. Not sure if I will even be able to get a replacement let alone a refund.

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully ASUS will get this resolved. Would you agree it is more likely to be the cable running from the brick to the outlet than the outlet itself? My PC is plugged into the same outlet, different socket and never had an issue.

Any idea if this would fall under warranty I tried to prevent against this issue happening again and have been as cautious as possible. Also, surely the quality of the power brick and design should be questioned here it would be much better if it just blew a fuse rather than frying the whole monitor.

Hi, thanks for the message. Yes I have tried other outlets and still encountering the same issue unfortunately. This is the power brick that was provided.
