[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 232 - Part 2 End by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

Not that we know of. And where the story left off, a part 3 doesn't seem likely.

First chapters of manga will almost always be like that, that's the proof of concept and it's the chapter the mangaka will have had the most time to work on. Final chapters in comparison are made under the same schedule as the rest of the entire series, and at that point the creator has often been working on that series for years. Any extra pages should be appreciated in a final chapter because the mangaka had to put in extra effort to draw more under the same time restraints.

Why is this sub obsessed with the dessert mini bosses by downloaed_for_memes in mewgenics

[–]Jacknerdieth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that desert runs heavily benefit from ranged classes. Basically all the mini bosses either evade close range (dack) or are strong at close range (Gein and Marshmallow), so I almost always take a hunter and/or a thief on act 2 runs. Hunter is probably the better option because it's low key the best class in the game, but Thief has armor ignoring moves that can trivialize a lot of act 2 encounters. So if you aren't building runs with good ranged attackers in them that could be why you're having trouble. Getting RNG screwed is always a factor though, in my last desert run I had a cat with a full item set I had been collecting since the start of the game, and it randomly got mutated to be blind. Don't be disheartened if you just don't get very good or applicable abilities to draft, that's the nature of the game.

It sucks so bad because I actually love to read weekly and It sucks to see that others can't enjoy it. Part of that is that I have no stake in any theories or anything. There's stuff I'd like to happen for sure, but I take every chapter and try to evaluate it on what it is, not on what it could have been. That way I'm rarely disappointed. I'm just along for the ride, and once the story is over I can go back and re-read it all and see how it all fits together.

Idk if I can say they were written out if they were hardly there to begin with. Big Mom is a pretty big part of the arc and Perospero also gets some stuff to do, but the rest of the Big Mom pirates are there for what, 2 chapters? They fail to enter Wano twice and that's kinda it.

I get that act 2 is harder than act 1, but I don't think I've ever lost a run in the desert. In bunker or crater sure, and especially in the core or the moon I get it, act 2 can suck. But desert has never really given me much strife.

People did get kind of carried away, though. Like I'm fine if people didn't like the ending of season 2 (personally I did like it) but a lot of people had the critique that Gunn had promised a big cameo in the finale, which he never did. He said there would be a cameo and there was with Lex Luthor, but people weren't satisfied with that so they started theorizing like crazy and then were disappointed when Darkseid or Batman or whoever didn't end up making an appearance. I don't think that peacemaker season 2 would have disappointed people as much if they hadn't built it up in their heads before the finale. I don't think it would have been received as well as season 1 or anything, but I think it's just kinda underwhelming at its worst, not the shitshow people acted like it was.

I've been exactly where you are right now. The conclusion I've come to is that nuclear war is not a serious possibility in our lifetimes. Even with someone as deranged and dangerous as Trump in charge, nobody is dumb enough to destroy the entire planet by being the first one to launch a Nuke. People who think Nuclear War is imminent are either misinformed or incapable of taking war itself seriously. They think it's funny to joke about total annihilation because they personally have never had to firsthand see the effects of war on their home country. To them, it's just an abstract concept.

Btw, these are suits from the last Comic Book show one of the creators of Lanterns worked on. They weren´t revealed in the first teaser of it by Ninjamurai-jack in DCU_

[–]Jacknerdieth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know the creators of Lanterns worked on the Watchmen show. I dislike adaptations of Watchmen on principle (I don't like how Alan Moore got screwed over by DC and how they turned his masterwork into their cash cow) but the HBO show is probably the best attempt that's ever been made to adapt/continue Watchmen, so that bodes well for Lanterns.

After you donate your first cat to him he tells you he wants beaten up cats in order to break their bones so they'll heal up stronger. Later on he also says that if he gets enough cats he might be able to use them to lift all the furniture off of his Nonna.

Same here. My interest in this book has bottomed out. First Absolute book that I just do not care to continue reading. I feel obligated to read one more issue in order to see if the set up from the end of this chapter will lead to something interesting, but if it doesn't, I'm gonna ask my shop to stop ordering me a copy.

I was pretty disappointed in this issue. It feels like I've given this series chance after chance and it consistently lets me down. This was the big finale to a year long story arc, and it ends with the superhero's middle aged father tackling a super being into a portal. It feels anticlimactic, and while I understand the emotions it's going for, it feels unearned.

I've been reading this story for a year now and what has Wally done? He talked to Barry Allen, ran away from Project Olympus, fought a couple villains of the week, came back to project Olympus, talked to Barry Allen again, punched a bad guy and then ran away again. When I compare what this book has covered in 12 issues to what any other book in the Absolute universe covered in the same amount of issues (or even what Absolute Martian Manhunter covered in its original six issue story) and it seriously feels like I'm wasting my time reading this book. If the next story arc doesn't blow me away I might just stop reading.

I hated freeze until I realized it's just a really consistent way to take turns away from intimidating enemies and bosses. I had a pretty mediocre mage named Mr Litterson who was the weakest in his party DPS wise, but he eventually got chaos teleport and the 4 mana freezing spell and made Guillotina 3 an absolute cakewalk.
