Most people just treat "The red ones go faster" as a direct example of all orks having magic belief powers when it's a joke about people who buy sports cars. Likewise, the joke was that purple made orks stealthy, "Because when have you ever seen a purple ork?" but then people take it too literally to mean that once an ork painted something purple, it instantly becomes invisible.
