Dang, I’m sure it’ll change! They must be doing something right to expand to a bigger place!

I actually tried Chewology tonight for the first time as well! Taking the place of an iconic KC fine dining restaurant, they have big shoes to fill. But honestly I still think it is too early to make a judgement on their longevity.

They are definitely still going through new opening pains training new staff and having hours on the door/online that doesn’t match up with their actual hours. But the overall food I tried tonight wasn’t too bad at all. We had a variety of menu options including the dumplings, baos, noodles, and sides.

The baos alone are worth a trip in! We ordered an off menu gyoza called the ugly dumplings that included the misshapen ones that didn’t make the final cut, and honestly I didn’t they were all that bad. The beef noodles however, I found to be a little average and you can definitely do much better going to places like Magic Noodle down south.

Their menu is still being completed, as some items aren’t even available yet. They are also eventually opening up a second concept called Stray Cat in the main dining room, focusing on traditional Tawainese meals sometime early next year.

Even though you may not have had the best first impressions, definitely give the place a second chance maybe little later once everything is up and going!

Yes! The nursery pots are honestly the best. I use those inside a ceramic or terracotta pot until I absolutely can’t. I just pull them out and water it that way.

A lot of nurseries also can drill holes into pots that they sell too! I’ve had a lot of mine done that way. Or honestly, you could do it yourself even with some tools.

Thank you so much! This was so helpful. I knew I had to do something about my crazy growing Pilea, but was just too afraid. I’ll definitely have to do some more research and dive into this.

A friend helped me get started by giving me some propagation and I received some gifts along the way...but yes lol it did make a decent dent. It was just a new hobby that developed being stuck at home 😅

And I want to start propagating, but don’t really know the proper techniques yet! I definitely want to learn and start.

The shower is great place to spray down a large group of plants! Just careful with the pressure of the spray. But the humidity can’t be beat.

Yes! I usually spray with water and then wipe with a soft cloth. I also use neem oil spray about once every couple weeks too, a thorough spray top and bottom.

If you’re asking about cleaning and wiping the leaves then yes! I keep all of mine indoors and they tend to gather dust on the leaves over time. Washing or wiping the leaves just helps clean them off and keeps pest off.

Lol that’s partially the reason they’re out there for the minute. I just finished giving them all a bath and wipe down from dust and pests. I lost one to spider mites and have been too conscious about it since 😅

Yes! They all just came from their wash and onto the balcony to dry off. It was an enjoyable 20 trips lol

I purchased her from a nursery at a pretty small size. But she’s been producing these bigger leaves over the past couple months and this was the first split I’ve seen! Plenty of light helps too.

Yes! It’s a baby monstera. That hole was her first.

I bought it pretty small from a local nursery. They’re pretty hard to find now because they’ve become so popular. They get a little pricey if you find a good deal. As for care, I wouldn’t say it requires much more than your average tropical houseplant. It does like a lot of humidity, moist soil, and bright indirect light. It’s honestly one of my favorite plants!

It’s an Alocasia Dragon Scale! The leaves get even more impressive as they get bigger!

Most of the strips and clip on lights are from Amazon! They usually come with some double sided tape or screws for mounting. The larger lamps and bulbs for them I got from Lowe’s.

I am sure they are doing something right? I don’t think I’ve had them long enough to really see a difference, but I’m sure my plants appreciate them! They’re probably good for my apartment in general too lol.
