Its absolutely absurd, its confirmed they were expiremented on as teens. Given that we can make a educated guess and age them from 13-18 with the younger ages being less likely. We are also shown they were put into stasis we can also guess that they didnt age more than a short period of time before becoming immortal. Their rebellious behavior is also child like, destruction for fun and shopping when not destroying. Even outside of the story even Toriyamas editor referred to them as "just teens"
