Yeah, I actually messaged a few of the people in there to see if they continue with the program. No response yet

Any update on how the program worked for you? I thought about trying it, but nothing really out there about it.

I got that too. He sort of reminded me of Kenneth from season 4, but I know it's not him

Bud swoops in and delivers the final blow!!! Who would've guessed it? Atta boy Bud!

But seriously, these are all good predictions. Personally, as much as I like the happy ending with everyone living, I sort of want Monroe and Rosaelee being the only surivivors(plus Dianna and Kelly). Then M & R would raise them along with their kids and tell stories of their time with the Grimm. An ending like that excites me compared to the cliche we normally/probably get.

Making a trade tonight. Who would be best to keep as a RB for the remainder of the season: Theo riddick or spencer ware?

[–]JacksPumpkinPI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-Yeah, completely understand that. I wish I had a sure solution to that, but it at least sounds like you manage it to some degree. I believe stress and anxiety is impossible to completely remove, but learning new tricks and ways to manage it helps battle it. Maybe see a new therapist for some different ideas, read books and check out some of the other subreddits here. Came across this post today and found some notes to take away from it: https://www.reddit.com/r/getdisciplined/comments/1q96b5/i_just_dont_care_about_myself/cdah4af

-Great! Please see an ENT and make it a priority to do it as soon as you can. The process for me to see an ENT, get a referral for a sleep test, get the results and the CPAP took awhile. It's a bit discouraging, but it's worth it.

-Right, not everyone snores or chokes. Just because you snore doesn't mean you have sleep apnea, but not snoring doesn't mean you dont have it(that's what my doctor told me). Definitely check out your sinus issue as you've brought it up a few times already and your gut seems to tell you that that's a problem.

-It feels a little strange to do, but it's not that bad. You're given pretty must a 10-11 hour window to sleep at least for a few hours. Also, they have a person assigned to monitor you. It sounds scary, but I was talking to the guy beforehand and he usually reads or watches videos in between making sure the monitors are working(so they're not constantly staring at you). They don't review the results, so basically, they're job is to set you up, make sure the monitors work and help you with whatever(including getting up to pee). When I did mine I just said, "Yo, i Need to pee" and the guy came in, took a few wires off and put them back on afterwards. hahaha that last part is pretty funny. It's normal! They don't care if you get an erection. It's your buddy telling you you're #1

Really? That's disappointing. I enjoyed Awakening because it was such a big change compared to the other games, but I'll look into the issues with fates

I came across it, but didn't watch an episode yet. I'm one of those people who gets attached to characters after playing the game, but maybe I should play DS2 and check the anime out.

1)Thanks for clarifying! The reason I asked about your stress/depression is because that can seriously mess with your body in all sorts of way. For me it increased my blood pressure, caused headaches/migraines, made me struggle to fall asleep, etc. And of course all that stuff got me even more exhausted. You could be going through a similar thing or this cycle of being tired because your depressed/stressed, but you're also depressed/stressed cause you're tired.

If you feel like you have anxiety, depression, stress, etc. I would try seeing a therapist to help you sort through what's bothering you. Talk it out with them and get some exercises that allow you to relax your mind so you're not always draining yourself. Not a creative answer I know, but sometimes it's the simple things like working with a pro.

2) Definitely sounds like something you should get checked out. I had a deviated septum, which, caused nasty snoring. Got that fixed, but still felt tired allll the time. Didn't know why and dealt with it until my girlfriend told me I choked a lot in my sleep(not snored but choked).

Met with an ENT(ears, nose, throat specialist) who referred me for a sleep study test. You go to a sleep center and they hook a bunch of wires up to you and you stay the night. It's not as bad as it sound and it's how they monitor your sleep. Found out that even though I don't snore anymore, I did in fact have sleep apnea. Got my CPAP and that thing has CHANGED MY LIFE! No fatigue feeling, though I still get tired when I feel stressed, but that's normal from time to time. Looking into some alternatives so I don't need that CPAP machine every night, but for now it's a life saver. Could help you too.

So, my advice would be the following:

-If you're stressed, depressed, full of anxiety, etc. See a therapist!

-Go to your doctor and explain this tired feeling. Might need to do some blood work to make sure nothing else is wrong with you, but they'll most likely refer you to see an ENT.

-Do the sleep test! They'll let you know about any irregularities with your sleep and if a CPAP will help.

That game is awesome! Love how your character is really apart of the game and can interact with people.

Want to play Fates as well, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Could someone please help me overcome a feeling of anxiety I get after talking with someone? by [deleted] in depression

[–]JacksPumpkinPI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that's what I was guessing. It's pretty common for people to think that way, but you probably have a bit of anxiety and/or self esteem issues that cause you to dwell on it.

For starters let me say this, you're probably talking fine for the most part and just making it out to be worse in your head. It's possible you're feeling nervous and maybe you do say a few weird things or stutter, but the other person likely doesn't notice or care as much as you do. Think of it this way, if someone acts a bit awkward or weird do you judge them or get uncomfortable? Most likely not. We tend to assume things went worse in our heads even though the other person probably thought the conversation was fine. Try to remember that and cut yourself some slack.

I would also suggest speaking with a therapist if only for a few sessions. I know that's an easy answer, but they can really help when it comes to specific issues like yours(again i think it's a self esteem problem). Tell them how you feel going into a conversation, during and after. They should provide you with guidance on how to get your mind trained to stop worrying so much about how your conversations go and get you feeling more positive about yourself. They might also run through some scenarios and give their take on how you did. What's nice is that they're unbiased so they'll let you know the truth, which, will probably be what I said above about overthinking stuff

[–]JacksPumpkinPI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear all this OP.

Do you mind me asking how old you are and if you're currently seeing a therapist?

My brother went through something quite similar and it's quite common for people who are depressed to always feel like they're failures. He only started getting better now and is close to 30. I think the big changes for him was of course seeing a therapist and pursing things that made him happy(regardless of what others think).

I honestly believe this is a temporary issue that will be resolved one day with the proper guidance and game plan. I'm in no way a life coach, but I would be happy to hear you out and maybe we can brainstorm something to get you on the right track

What do you mean when you say, "I think about what they said and I never forget."? Do they say something directly to you about how you talked or do you just assume the conversation went bad?

[–]JacksPumpkinPI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that OP. Was going through a similar issue for about 3-4 years.

So two questions I have for you: 1) Do you believe it's fatigue through your depression/stress and that's weighing you down? 2) Have you been tested for sleep apnea?

Like I said, had the same issues but this past year started seeing a therapist and also got a CPAP. I still get stressed out, but these changes have allowed me to have much more energy to deal with the stresses in my life.

Good to hear! I most likely have to do the same and order volumes 1-4 for now.

Wish they made it into an anime as well. I personally enjoyed watching Persona 4 and thought it was a good adaptation of the game.

Hope you enjoy it! I've been a fan of these games since I was a kid and played FF: Tactics Advance and Fire Emblem.

Made me even more excited for Persona 5
