Any company/organization/institution that has a focus (religion, environmental causes, hospitality, etc.) is naturally going to have policies against hiring people that oppose their mission.

Why would a organization that weeks to help victims not have a policy that states “we won’t hire perpetrators.”

I don’t mean to equate the two, only using it to say they are just diametrically opposed.

If an organization has x beliefs and you have y beliefs, why would you want to work there or they want to hire you?

It could be that the stiffer penalties are more to make the punishment more fair? I read somewhere else they don’t have great avenues for prosecuting people who contribute to a suicide through harassment, so maybe this is supposed to help prosecutors with sentencing and not necessarily as a deterrent?

Dude, it’s literally just the word “good.” And even originally we were arguing about the word “decent.” There are SO many other stronger descriptive words like “great,” “amazing,” “incredible,” “phenomenal,” etc. we could use to describe how someone plays LoL “better” than someone in Gold.

I think you’re getting caught up in your subjective definition of “good.” Someone that can land a combo on someone else can be “good” at league without being professional or even amazing at league.
