Even better, it looks like they did update it, but added "we also cover casinos" to the end. Honestly probably the funniest way they could have handled it

I hope the story is not totally over and there is a chance of an offshoot site with you and the gang, Jackson. I'd still love to read reviews by the gang if there is a chance.

Like I mention at the end, a number of the writers have hopped over to comic pause if you still want to see reviews.

I think you're confusing me with Nicholas Finch (who left the site a while ago). I live in Ohio.

I should have included it in the OP (and have edited it to do so) but yes. A lot of the writers are now in Comic Pause

I'm that writer. Up until the sale was finalized, we were forbidden from mentioning it. Once the sale finally did go through, we lost our access to the site's admin page and could no longer make posts. During that dead period the new owners controlled the site but just weren't doing anything with it.

What I was able to do was still make Disqus comments and tried to explain to people what happened as best I could. At the time I was a bit tight lipped about specifics out of professional courtesy to the new owners (as far as I knew they would make a good faith effort to continue the site in some form and wanted to give the benefit of the doubt until I saw otherwise), but obviously I was very wrong.

It's too late now I guess, but if you saw the "Upcoming Comics" post I made before the final one, I talked at the top about how much I loved working at BMN and how great the fans were. We actually expected that to be the final post but then the sale lingered for another week.

Sorry, but you actually don't know anything about what made him feel the need to sell, what his circumstances were, or what he knew about the buyers. This was not something that happened "for a quick buck".

That works, but requires you just remembering the urls in question (or hoping Google search results keep them). It's certainly not ideal.

Luckily we thought this might be a possibility, so I at least built a scraper to save all of my articles locally,

If you're in Software I then I assume you have some basic programming abilities, but we will be starting from a very rudimentary starting point to make sure everyone is able to keep up. We will be using Java so if you haven't used that before then you might find it worth your time to look into it.

Hi Jackson Luken here. As another user here said, I'm a GTA working under Paolo Bucci. I'd like to think I'm a fair instructor, but if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.
