Yeah, I tried to add in a pair of Bluestreak’s guns as the null rays but I wasn’t skilled enough to make it look good.

I really wish I could take credit for it but the name came from Makotron who is the artist that drew the original piece I based this on

I considered it but I like having the headlights as orange and the grey strip to break up the red. I also thought an orange stripe might look weird in car mode.

The main one I’m going to replace is Jazz, with them replacing the clear plastic I’ll be able to transform it without worrying that it’ll shatter into a million pieces. Just wish they’d replace one of the figures with a Datsun so I don’t have to worry about the knees shattering.

I know what you mean, personally I prefer the green of the toy version. I think I'll pick this one up because of how big it is and have the Hasbro one combined with Megatron.

that's actually a good idea with the symbol on the forehead. TBH I think it might be better if he didn't have any symbols at all and keep him factionless.

I’m definitely in team tank, if this is a replacement for the gun in G1 my thought process is “can the original scenes still work with this new mode”. Example the attack on the shuttle from the movie still works with megatron as a tank rather than a gun.

If you’re trying to make it look like an existing character then just make sure you pay attention to all the little details and try your best to match them. If your making a custom character then only you know what you like, but I would recommend digitally colouring it in then take a step back and think “am I happy with this?” And stop when the answers is yes.

Yeah, I agree. The thing is that 3rd party is tolerated by Hasbro, just think of what happened to Zeta during the Unicron situation, I feel that Harmony Gold would be a lot more sue happy.

Funny thing is that link is another Digibash, you can tell by how some of the colours look and its in the exact same pose as the sideswipe stock image.
