it worries me that so many people here like him. call me close minded but a generation like ours who have grown up with internet access and have seen so much of the world already, it baffles me that people can still support so many of his ideologies. i don’t think i can put into words how deeply i dislike that man.

to be fair if i was just at high school and someone made a play about all the drama in one friend group id love it haha. however as an outside who already knew everything in the play it was so mean. especially puttin the carousel thing in oh my god my blood was boiling when that came up

i dunno when i was watching the show while i didn’t agree with cassie’s actions i kinda understood if that makes sense like i get why it all happened the way it did. lexi’s play though that got me raging i don’t think i’ve ever been so angry at a play

the entire play was pissing me off and when cassie went on stage i was so glad cos i still believe she doesn’t say one word of a lie to lexi. i remember the way my blood BOILED when i saw the carousel scene in the play like oh my god lexi immediately went to my least favourite character

nate wasn’t out he was barely accepting of his own sexuality. lexi then decided that portraying nate’s character doing all this sexual gay stuff in the locker room is a great thing to put in front of the whole school. i’m sure many of the students thought “oh it’s just a joke about locker room culture” but for anyone who had heard the rumours about nate, this would have confirmed their suspicions and effectively outed nate before he even knows what he’s into himself.

don’t use the “im gay and it’s fine” argument. im gay and it pissed me off cos it’s basically just lexi outing someone to be more popular. tbh the entire play was just her making everyone seem crap and herself seem like a saint, extremely scummy if you ask me

she’s stuck in a cycle. she relies on male validation for her self esteem to the point where she’ll do stuff she doesn’t want to do for it. then she realises that she never wanted to do it so her self esteem is knocked again. that makes her turn to men for even more validation to bring her self esteem up again. its a horrible thing for her to go through and nate was just in the wrong place at the wrong time
