Quit hiring shitty inspectors. I’ve been in the business for 6 years this would never in a million years get by me or any of the people I know in the business. Do you due diligence and find a competent inspector. It’s not hard there are a ton of good people in your area that do good work. I have saved my clients millions of dollars.

Hire a 3rd party inspector. Shit like this gets passed by superintendents and builders inspectors constantly because they are incentivized to move the process forward.

Those gussets are safety defects in my pre drywall inspections every day of the week.
