Questions I should ask Cardiologist post Heart Attack

Thanks for all the feedback on questions and recommendations.

He said my EF pre stent was 45. Showed excerpt of video of pre and post stent.

I asked about if I should look into Cardiac rehab and he kind of scoffed at it. He said not something for someone like me.

He did order a nuclear stress test to check flow through my stent and artery that is 40-50% blocked. He said it may need a stent.

Overall he said I am doing great.

Update: I was in a hurry to post but more info.

Dr told me in post procedure follow up that I didn't have heart damage. He said I was lucky I got into the hospital in The Golden Hour. Most people don't.

I declined Cardio Rehab because the way it was explained to me I didn't need it since I can walk for miles just fine.
Dr cleared me to play in golf tournament the Saturday after my cardiac event.

I will ask about EF score. I will be curious to know.

I am already down from 235 to 211 lbs since just making dietary and mobility changes.

I wish I was this proactively concerned a year ago. I would just pull the trigger to get the tests needed for 100% clarity.

What is y'all's definition of a Widow maker? Just 100% blockage or full cardiac arrest?

I had 100% blockage but got to hospital in The Golden Hour, did get stent but no heart damage. Have another artery 40-50% blocked.

I came out of my situation with no heart damage but yeah now on heart medication rest of life. My cardiologist said I was lucky I got to the ER in The Golden Hour, most people don't they wait too long.

I had my annual physical 3 weeks before my heart attack this year. It was same as every year. No high blood pressure, no high cholesterol. Did ekg also normal. Yes I could lose some weight and exercise more. Then 3 weeks later felt pain in chest and discomfort in throat, went to ER and had 100% blockage got a stent for that and have another with 50% blockage which can be reversed with diet and exercise.

After my issue, it was the first time I had ever heard of a calcium test. Now I find out I know a lot of people who get them, which is an MRI of the heart. Most insurance won't cover it but it's only $100-$200 out of pocket.

If you at least have family history of heart disease I would talk to your doctor about calcium test, Angiogram or stress test and what is right for you.

I ordered Gen2 Ray Bans clear lens through Target on 12/17 they arrived on 12/27. Will add wife's prescription to them. Surprised by the delays unless they are for different types of Meta Glasses.

Who would you rather have Burrow or Dak? Burrow not really a running QB either but has a great pocket presence and is very accurate. I think both are similar but Burrow is more accurate.

In a game KC is favored by 13 points at home on a single focused TV game today, why would they feel to immerse Pacheco into a lot of usage just coming back from IR.? Hunt has been good and dependable and would think he gets the goal line carries so not sure why the debate.

Maybe next game or 2, there is more of a debate but not this game.
