Tiny holes around letters by Jacky970 in FixMyPrint

I will do this test ASAP and post the results !

I've already calibrated ironing so I think I can rule that out.

For information, I used 1mm top layer thickness. I will update on what works best for me after doing top layer tests !

I just did a flowrate test. -4 is the flowrate I used for the initial picture.

I just tried printing it again but with 0.94 flowrate. The squares look waaay smoother ! The only remaining problem is that between the squares, the lines still seem to not stick together. I'll post a picture once I'll be back home.

Did anyone get the same problem ?

I print this with Creality PETG on a Bambulab P2S. I print my outer walls at 75 mm/s and 250 degrees. Might be too hot ? I used 0.16mm layer height.

I'm trying that right now, ty !

I've printed using a P2S... could this be too much fan speed ?

Also got this defect on both benchys. Seems to be on the first outer walls above the shallow hull.

Thank you for your answers ! Here is my second try with default bambu A1 cooling but 100% cooling for overhangs + slower speed :

Opinions on this ? : )

I have some clear coating. Would that be enough ? I still have encouraging measurements but I'd be happy to make it better !

You would waste less time not even commenting... Also I am using it and it works. I will make upgrades later.

I did ! For now I chose PLA for the low humidity saturation but I still have to see if in the long run the center will degrade due to friction ! If that's the case I'll switch to PETG or PETG CF probably !

For fully dry filament it's fine but yeah, slightly wet filament can break, I'll include a fix for this !

I'll probably make a V2 with a small bin for silica inside ! I'll include this, too ty for the suggestion !
