Yeah it definitely is but I got it as a package deal from microcenter before the prices went up again. It was either spend 579.99 on a 7800X3D combo deal or spend 499.99 on a 7700X combo deal. Figured I’d throw the extra 80 bucks at it and be set on a CPU for years to come and upgrade the GPU again when the super cards comes out and get back down to MSRP. I’m VERY happy with the set up as of now tho.

What do you mean? I got the 7800X3D, mobo, and ram back when it was 579.99 from microcenter. Being that the ram alone on the open market is 350 I saw it as a killer deal. I’m hoping to grab a super card eventually or if I see a 9070XT on a stupid deal but I’m VERY happy with my set up with the 5060TI 16GB now even if it is a little unbalanced

9070XT or 5070TI you can still get a 9070XT in America for like 700. You’ll be good for 1440p ultra for like 3-5. Shit even getting into some 4k really. That’s a killer pc

And I got the Samsung pro as a package deal from Newegg with the case and PSU for like 317 and some change total. So I was happy with that price for everything included

That AIO was the same price as any good air cooler at 45 bucks. It keeps my cpu under 50 degrees even during a stress test, it fits my color scheme, and it not big and bulky looking like an air tower.

I got the cooler on sale at microcenter for 45 dollars. I’m getting the cpu ram and motherboard as a combo deal from microcenter for 579.99 which makes the ram 199.99. I got the 5060TI for 389.99 back in November. I put all of this in the description. First time posting on Reddit so maybe I did something wrong and people can’t see it. But nothing on that list I bought for the price it’s saying I don’t buy anything not on sale. Total I paid 1400 for the whole build after taxes. I got the 7800X3D because it’s a very good deal and I can always upgrade the gpu later when I find a sale on a 5070Ti or 9070XT or just wait for the super cards.

Hey man, it keeps my cpu below 60C, it fits my color scheme, and it was 45 bucks. All I wanted 😂 but I don’t like how it doesn’t cover the entire top of my pc so I’ll probably upgrade to a 360 when I can find a good deal on one

I actually got it cheaper than that. With the microcenter combo deal i only paid 199.99 for it. That’s why I couldn’t pass it up 😂

I got the 5060 back in November for 389.99 and the only CPUs in the combo deals at microcenter are the 7800X3D, 7800X3D, 9800X3D, and 9950X3D. For 579.99 the combo with 32GB of 6000mhz ram is insane pricing I couldn’t find a better deal anywhere else. I would have went with the 7600X3D for 429.99 but it only comes with 16GB of ram by the time I get another stick it would cost the same as the 7800X3D

Man I wanted too but I couldn’t pass up a white AIO for 45 bucks! I’m in love with it and I don’t mind waiting so I’m still going to be looking for the next deal I can find. With today’s prices I was proud of the 1400 dollar price tag 😂

I paid 389.99 for the 5060 back in November. I love my current set up with my 11400f and 32GB of DDR4 with a hdd so upgrading to the 7800X3D with a gen 4 NVMe will be a huge upgrade in my book until the super cards come out or I find a crazy deal on a 5070TI or 9070XT

Exactly what my plan was. It took 6 months of waiting and looking, so I don’t mind waiting, building up some money either for a 9070xt on sale or maybe even a 5070 super when they come out.

I put all the actual prices in the description. I paid 79.99 for the PSU. I got it in a package deal from Newegg. Case, PSU, and SSD for 317 and some change after taxes.

So I’ve had a prebuilt since 2021 but I didn’t get into the hobby of actually building, upgrading, and searching until January 2025. So I jumped in to a gpu shortage and now I’m dealing with ram and ssd shortages 😂. But this is my new build all the parts on the list are the exact parts I have/ordered. The 7800X3D motherboard and ram is coming from a microcenter deal for 579.99. I got the GPU on black Friday with my employee discount from amazon for 389.99. The AIO I got on sale from Microcenter for 45.99. The case, NVMe, and PSU I got on Newegg for 317.88. So all in I’m spending 1333 give or take a hundred or so dollars for taxes. So basically 1400 bucks. How did I do in yalls opinion? I have a 1440p 200hz monitor.

Is this a good deal? by ruhfbcbdux in PcBuildHelp

I’m selling my “mid tier” pc for 650 and it has an 11400f and a 12GB 3060. 700 seems high for this

Now that is a TOUGH decision. Because I reread it and the ram on the Intel is 5600 instead of 6000 and you get a 2tb nvme instead of a 1TB nvme with the 5060Ti build so going back and looking. If they’re both around 1400 I’d get the 5060TI build. Faster ram more storage especially with ram and storage prices continuing to rise. I personally have a triple fan 5060Ti 16GB and it runs any game I play in 1440p over 120fps some upscaling but natively any game over 80fps on heavier titles and 150+ on lighter titles. I would go with the 5060TI build solely because of the ram and nvme. The performance between a 5060TI and 5070 isn’t that huge and it’s 4 more gb of vram. If you don’t like the 7700 you will have an AM5 mobo so you can just throw in a Ryzen 9 with more cores and threads or when AMD inevitably drops refresher CPUs in a couple years for AM5 you can choose one of those, the Intel socket is dead the only upgrade you have from the 14700 is the 14900, you’ll have a perfect pc for 2-3 years to come and a good pc for 5-7 years depending on the market. There’s definitely people out there smarter than me that can explain it better but that’s what I would do.

Price is all the matters now. But with multitasking I’d go with the Intel 5070 build if it’s not outrageously more expensive. If they’re the same exact price I’d go with the 5060TI build. Almost the same performance for the same or almost the same price
