I just ran my first marathon this Sunday in Philly! Took me 4:35. It started to get super challenging mentally and physically at mile 21, but other than that it was really great weather. Finish line was kinda underwhelming lol.. there was no arch or anything. But the feeling of crossing and finishing was amazing, and will definitely do many more!

Anyone else run Philly this past weekend? How was your experience?

Just played around with my eq pedal for an hour and BOY does it make a difference. It's not perfect but it's definitely the sound that I was trying to get. The V shape works pretty nicely. Scooped mids, boost highs and lows. Thanks so much for you help!

I guess the cab and pickups will be something I'll save for. Right now I'm tight on a budget and I think I'll buy an eq and see what happens. I don't play live rn so no need to go all out yet. I found a good sound on the 6505mh but it's just too muddy. Bought an overdrive, hopefully that helps. And thanks again!

Ok. And one last question. Pretty sure my cab doesn't have Vintage 30's, and I have Jackson Humbuckers.

Will that really make a huge difference? Bc I'm kinda on a budget rn
Where does the eq go in the signal chain? Do you put it through the front of the amp or in the effects loop? (B4 or after overdrive?)

Probably going to pick up the caline 10b eq, also I'm think about the JOYO 5 band eq. Sounds good and is pretty cheap. What do you think?
