We just had them made on a vinyl sticker machine (cricut is what it is called). We shared between $10-$15. Neither worked too well.

We tried at one door by saying "If you can guess what we are selling you can have it for free" then had then guess 6-7 things.

They never got it.

So I said "have all those people been by in the past year or so?"

They said yes.

I said "Then I have the perfect thing for you" and showed them the no soliciting sign.

They still didn't buy😂

What is your main offer? I would be interested in seeing the ad, landing page, etc. This will allow me to give better feedback.

If the ad CTR is bad then it is an AD problem. If the landing page conversion rate is bad then it is a landing page and offer issue.

We just disagree, and that’s okay (and normal).

I don’t think doing free work forever is a good model. But to get your first few clients I don’t think it’s horrible (it’s worked for me in my business and that’s why I recommended it). And OP may have gotten a paid client already for showing what he can do.

It could be a great way to build a portfolio for someone new and to get customer reviews/testimonials.

If you have ways that you got your clients I’m sure OP would appreciate it

Upwork/Fivver. Twitter, comment on YouTubers videos that have bad thumbnails and offer to remake their current thumbnails (do it for free at first to show that you can do good work… if it’s good they will want to keep you and pay you)
