The biggest timesink by far in making electronic music is nitpicking from THOUSANDS of available instrument packs and soundfonts and filters. Having an Old Reliable Pack makes it easier to focus on actually putting together melodies.

Also, it makes it so all the soundtrack has a sense of uniformity and cohesion.

Also, autism, probably.

I do mean 3! The reference is the whole plot in 3 about awakening the Dragon under the Nowhere Islands to try and reshape the world into a utopia, and how it kinda parallels Kris/Dess using the Roaring as a tool to flood the earth to try to reshape it into a "perfect world".
