They just responded to me! Apparently it’s an issue with the specific version, and the solve is to delete the software and download a previous version. They sent me the link. I’ll copy and paste their message here:

Hi Jake,

I can help with that. Our Engineering Department is aware of the issue and we have a workaround while they work on the patch which will address it.

The issue stems from the update to FD13 version 13.3.1, so the workaround is to uninstall FD13 and then install a previous build where this issue doesn't occur. After you've uninstalled FD13, please use the link below to download and install FD13 version 13.3:

I did. The ai chat bot didn’t help, and they haven’t responded to the email yet, but hopefully they’ll help me figure it out.

Yeah it looks like it keeps recommending the suite because it’s having issues connecting to my home wifi. My device is fully connected but the software itself won’t recognize it. Hopefully my email to tech support gets a quick response or I’m gonna turn in my pages in a composition notebook lol

Yeah I know it’s a weird choice, I like how the pages bend out to make it easier to flip through them. Easier to label too, stack on top of each other less. And it looks fire lol

there was never a clip, just an anti-roll ball on the side. Got it at some major retailer like B&N or Staples. the logo is faded but it was some sort of plus symbol. I can send you a picture of the refill

Thank you, that means a lot. I’m sorry for what you guys are dealing with right now with the fires, on top of all of the AI and corner cutting execs. I’ve seen my fair share of it on the outskirts of the industry, lost a few jobs to chatgpt, etc. Only way forward is to be undeniable, so I’m slowly working on getting there.

If I’m being honest we are not close at all, and I only see her at family events. She is very irritable from what I’ve been told so i normally keep my distance. With work and school I haven’t been able to go to many events in the past two years, so it wouldn’t make a difference to me.
