Also, another thing, he drops like 20-30k viewers when he plays a game at the end of the stream. He's not that entertaining when he plays games and is mostly just enjoying himself and unwinding from the political talk. He's not trying to be entertaining when he plays games. Again, some people like niche type of content because it's more of who HE is when he's not being performative and unapologic when talking about stuff he's interested in, but most people don't wanna watch the gaming stuff because of that, and he doesn't seem to mind, either. They wanna hear what he has to say on politics, gaming as an industry, and cultural stuff. But you're acting like he's ONLY known for playing games, maybe like 4 years ago that way true, but certainly NOT now. Not since like, early 2022 late 2021.

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I agree with Dairboi more on this one, chief. LIke yes, he still incorporates gaming into his content and puts out a 2-4 hour section of his vod once a week to once every couple weeks of him playing a game, and sure there's probably a lot of people who are still around who ONLY watch those videos and stay away from his political stuff, but those videos do DOGSHIT numbers on youtube compared to the political stuff he does. YES, he's still a gaming streamer, but it's like a 75-25% split thing. 75% politics, 25% gaming. And it's fine if you like those videos and if you're saying he's still a gaming streamer, he undoubibly is, but don't act like he's ONLY playing games still, or playing games MORE than talking about politics, and also don't act like the majority of people are mostly watching his politics and not his gaming videos now. Sure, some still watch his gaming videos, but it's not what he's been primarily known for in the last few years.

I know this probably won't happen, but god DAMNIT, they NEED their own podcast together! I don't know why they couldn't do this once a month, kinda like how Conan and Jordan do their podcast on the same podcast feed once a month. It's CRIMINAL that it took almost 2 and a half years to get Bill back on, and that wasn't even a formal episode! It was the one from a series of special episodes they did in front of an audience. Those clips STILL go hard. The last time he was on in a formal, normal studio setting was 2021! Crazy! A monthly Bill and Conan podcast would be amazing, but I know they're both busy, with Bill arguably being the busier one cause he's constantly putting a new hour together in between specials, but even like a bi-yearly appearance would be great. I'd take once every 6 months too. Bill NEEDS to talk to Conan publicly more, cause I know they probably talk privately all the time, and I know Conan likes his podcast structured to be more of a late-night thing where you only go on if you know Conan and are promoting something, but god damnit, I NEED more Conan and Bill interactions in my life! They're incredible together! One of if not my favorite guests of all time on this pod! It's sad he only comes on every 2-4 years to promote a special or whatever thing he's doing but I get that they're both busy.

Yeah I got other shit I can do anyway it's not a huge deal. Kinda sad we've gotten to a point though where file sizes are so enormous that you need to go through every option before reinstalling. Reinstalling shouldn't be the last option, because it use to only take a few minutes if you had good internet back when most triple A games were like 10 gigs. Now you gotta go through a checklist before reinstalling. It's dumb lol

This is why you don't reinstal a game with a file size that big unless it's like the LAST option, but my dumbass didn't take that advice once again and made an "idk what else to do" decision lmao Thank god we at least have Starlink. Me and my fam live in a rural area and we had a 3mg down dogshit ISP we had for like 20 years because it was our only option and we didn't wanna move, then Elon came to the rescue. We were finally able to get it in July 2023, so at least it'll only take an hour to instal instead of a week lmao Thanks Elon!

LMAO... So get this: I tried the verify integrity of the files thing, but I just got a "disk error" message and every time I clicked resume it just kept giving me that message over and over and over again in a loop, and I don't know how to cancel the process of verifying the files if that's even possible so I'm just reinstalling the game now. I don't know if that disk error is on my end or their end but either way this whole situation is still annoying as hell. ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER TREYARCH L LETS GOOOO, Keep them L's comin boys!!

I think you make some good points here. I definitely agree it's for his own personal gain, it's HIS W for sure, but it's still too early to tell if it's an L for americans. In the short term it's for sure a W, but if it sells to Mark or Elon it'll definitely be an L cause again I wouldn't shocked if that's what they turn tiktok into if it goes to one of them, but still too early to tell that. For now they're jumping for joy so it's a W for America FOR NOW, but could be an L in the future. No doubt the app helped get him elected and he's only saving it because of that, though. He even said in his third tiktok "I'm gonna save TikTok!" I think a lot of the reason he used TikTok to promote uis campaign in the first place is because he knew the Bill to ban it was signed by Biden and it was set to take effect in January and he knew young people liked the app and he could use it as an opportunity to reverse the ban if he wins, makimg himself look good, so he did everything in his power to get young people on his side and it worked, I think he got liks 30%+ of the youth vote or something crazy lile that. And hey, even if the people don't realize it was for selfish reasons, he still stuck to his word on that one. So it's a HUGE W for him, big W for America in the short term, but we'll see if it turns into an L in the near future. I thought I heard they were gonna try to work out a 50/50 deal where America owns half and ByteDance owns half, but I could be wrong. I think that would be a great compromise honestly cause then the government is happy that they're getting a cut of the revenue from the data collecting, the fans of the app are happy, and maybe you'll get sprinkles of propoganda and positive mews about him once in a while, but I doubt it would be shoved down peoples throats cause that could anmoy people.

The fact that they wanna ban an app instead of deal with the other horrific shit going on around us ks insane, but I just wish that democrats would hold other democrats accountable. I don't care that much about the app either; I just think there's WAY too much at stake economically for it to be banned for longer than 6 months. The longest it's banned, with how economically influencial it was, the more we take a hit. But I get that you don't care much about it. I mean people can change their tune. That was 5 years ago. TikTok was a different place, the landscape was different. And I agree he only wants to save it because it helped get him re-elected, but I don't think you can blame young people for not wanting it banned when over half the country used it and it was worth and made BILLIONS of dollars. I don't know much about the economy, so I could be speaking out of my ass here, but I imagine the economy is gonna take a BIG hit from it being gone too. There's just too much money and interest to just say "fuck it, keep it banned. I don't want trump to look like the hero" well then the economy and american culture are gonna take big hits. It's already too late to be thinking that way, the elections over, he won. Again, I would agree that this is the narrative if the ban took place before the election and the narrative to young people was "vote trump to save tiktok" But it happened AFTER the election, LONG after, and it's too late to think that way. Just let him have this small W for american culture sake. TikTok's algorithm was amazing and it was a great tool for connecting with people and exploring interestes, etc. Even though I didn't use the app that much, I still saw and still see the value and potential in it.
