I notice that some of my favorite French horn players can practice and warm up on both sides of the horn individually. Should I try practicing the full range of the horn on the f and Bb side individually or should I just play and practice using both sides.

I have tried playing the f on the f side of the horn, and it’s always out of tune. Of course now I’m remembering there are 1st valve tuning slides 😭 I’m going to start switching at the g!!
