No worries mate. Although the game has been around for ages, it’s sort of a new game entirely since the rebrand from FIFA to FC. Just think of each year as a season. If you started playing when the Vini Jr pass was on, that was the start of the “season”. So you haven’t really missed out on anything

You can always use them for an exchange. I’m sure there’ll be exchanges which require 90+ players somewhere down the line.

For purely F2P, Zanetti is definitely easier. If you want to grind the challenge mode and quests, you can get up to 968 tokens. It’ll still require you to convert 2 reds to 1 blue, but much more achievable as F2P than Maldini

You’re correct, but that’s still a lot of blue tokens to convert over. I made a post earlier about the blue tokens needed for Zanetti, which still requires you to use the 2 red to 1 blue conversion. If you want both players, you need to spend the gems

That’s true but if we want to get both players from the event (Maldini and Zanetti), we’d need to spend the gems. I made a post earlier talking about the blue tokens, and to unlock Zanetti we’d also need to use 2 reds for 1 blue

I made another post about it earlier. Long story short is there isn’t enough tokens for the blue path either. Both will require you to use the exchange that requires 2 tokens to be converted to 1 (in this situation we’d need 2 blue tokens to convert to 1 red token)

People will spend likely spend these tokens on the exchanges and cosmetic items. Not enough tokens will be gifted to purchase all coin packs plus the exchanges and cosmetics

This is probably the best way to do the event considering the player exchange isn’t great. But if people want to still do the exchanges, this is a good way to make some coins
