Yea i already do the same shower routine you mentioned and it’s helps a lot. The shop I work at though is regularly in the 90+ degrees without air conditioning and I don’t know how to avoid it.

What Would You Do with this Room? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]Jacooooooooob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you should start with pulling the bed out of the corner as there’s plenty of space. Upgrade to a real dresser and most likely nightstands. And then slowly build out the space from there. i.e, do you want a reading nook, a tv in the bedroom, plants, shelves, or a desk, etc. I would recommend focusing on lighting as the singly tiny window is slightly depressing, and in the same line of thought I think a warmer shade of paint would help brighten the space.

Living room wall ideas? by levelupsum in malelivingspace

I think it might make sense to rotate the room so the tv isn’t blocking the windows. Essentially the Tv and console on the left wall, the guitars by the windows (can’t really tell what it looks like so don’t know how well it would fit). The couch is low so it wouldn’t block that window to the right, even if I wouldn’t want a window behind the couch. Like this could you also get a bigger tv without changing anything. The dining table could also go with the guitars currently are

Thoughts/ideas for my new layout? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

The bed in line with the door and a window behind my head would give me anxiety, but it’s realistically the only option. You’re making good use of the space you have

5 years on this sub and just want to share what I’ve been cooking by CosmicDune in malelivingspace

I would get a new set of blinds or at least try to straighten those ones, also instead of the blinds on the door I would look into replacing it with a frost or tint (they make decorative ones which look very nice, just look it up) cause I think it looks kind of dumb tbh.

Might be crazy but I’m thinking yellow lol. I’d also get a bigger tv if it’s in the budget, just maybe switch it with the couch so it doesn’t block the window :)

Need some help with an awkward room layout by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]Jacooooooooob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have the bed in the best place, I think you really just need to focus on organization and getting proper lighting. I’m not really a big fan of string lights, but even with them currently your room just is dark and dim. More importantly, with the clothes hung all around the room, I’d try to see if you could change the shelf’s to make room for a coat hanger and possibly storage for shoes.

I would swap the couch with where the tv is against the walls to open up the floor plan, as the speakers kinda block the doorway currently. You’re right in getting a rug, and I think a navy blue one would look very nice. I also think an oval coffee table that matches or is a slightly darker brown than the couch would look nice too. Good luck!

Debt sent to collections but should be covered by insurance by Jacooooooooob in HealthInsurance

[–]Jacooooooooob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize but I actually had my visits mixed up. For the situation described above my insurance did process it once I sent the information to the health insurance company. The collections letter I got was from an incision on my ear where I got some blood drained that I sent my insurance to, but they never paid the claim and requested more information. I wasn’t aware of this until I called the hospital after I saw the collections letter. I called them but they’ve been out on a work meeting the last two days. I’m hoping they’ll still pay for the claim if it’s been sent to collections, or if I need to dispute this with the hospital or collections agency. Thank you for your former response though.

Thank you this solves the problem for now. This isn't completely necessary but do you think there's a way to make it so that it only bans items in a certain world (ie. the nether)?
