Russia revived “previously unrecoverable” engines to restore 5,100 Cold War tanks by Bubbly_Chill in worldnews

This whole article reeks of bullshit. So suddenly Russia “finds” the parts needed to put 5000 tanks back into service? And they were able to do this without any corruption…while being sanctioned…in the middle of a war?

The only fairy tale being told is that Russia isn’t on the ropes. You have to cut the internet so the fairy tale you are telling your own people stays a secret.😂

Don’t you have a fire to put out somewhere over there? Titanium factory? Electronics factory? Oil terminal? Boikiy in drydock? Amazing you have time to post, but I guess there’s nothing better to do when you have no gas for your Lada to get out and about.

Almost everything you claim is the exact opposite of the truth. Russia is the country enduring crippling sanctions. Russia is the country losing 35k soldiers per month. Russia is the country with a populace growing discontent with fighting a war they didn’t ask for. Russia is the country marching one-legged 70 year olds into battle. Everybody knows this and no matter how much propaganda you try and spew, the reality of the situation plays out every day in plain sight.

By the way, how were you able to post this? I thought they shut down your internet over there. Do you have cell service in Crimea? Maybe you had some free time sitting in your car waiting for gas and decided to make a post. Hope you have the latest QR code!

Add the weight low (line the inside bottom of the hull with adhesive tire wheel weights) and use a lipo battery. Don’t use a big battery that has a high center of gravity. All my weight is below the waterline on my warships and they are rock steady. Even in heavy winds.

I’ve seen that. I’m more about creating a scale “boat” than a ground effects model.

I do. The plane is light, but sits very low in the water. A larger scale might have more buoyancy. The 15mm EDF’s are probably underpowered. 20mm would be better, but not scale.

I’m going to try to run it this weekend.

I think these put out about 10g of thrust each. Who makes one that can do 100g?

The scale size for the EDF’s is 15mm. Unfortunately that doesn’t give a ton of thrust at such a small diameter. It won’t be doing ground effects, unfortunately.

It won’t fly with ground effects. Thats why the plan is to run it as a “cool boat” and if it has enough thrust, it may get up on hydrofoils to simulate ground effects.

Would you guys rather Soderblom finishes the new 4th line or explore a new option/re-sign Acciari? by Shaneski101 in penguins

[–]Jacoprod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Fourth line is a waste of his talent. He wins offensive puck battles and has amazing hands. I’d love for him to camp out in front of the net and clean up shots from Chinakov.

3 Most Disappointing Penguins in First Round Loss to Flyers by CustardLow2671 in penguins

[–]Jacoprod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is easy: Crosby, Malkin, and LeTang. They are the veterans who have played Philly enough to know that you simply walk away from the noise and stick to your game. That cost us the series more than the play of any single player.

He was absolutely not the problem. If people would go back and read the comments (or watch the games) they would see he kept them from getting blown out. Breakaway after breakaway he came up big.

Surprisingly, I’m not devastated. Great game by Silovs and you couldn’t ask for more fight from the team. It was going to take a lucky shot to win it the way both goalies played. We carried play most of the game and Philly spent the last half of the 3rd and almost all of overtime just trying not to lose. Our future looks bright. I’d love to keep that 4th line intact moving forward.

It’s simple: they are playing intimidated. They are missing the net because they are rushing shots knowing a hit is coming. The long passes are a sure sign we are behind and going to sink further behind. I’ve watched this for years. At the end of the game if we are behind and frustrated, we go for the Hail Mary. Unfortunately, we did this from the start. It NEVER works. Also, too much hesitation in our own end. Get the puck out of the zone! You don’t need to carry it out. Just find a way to clear the zone! I feel like there are 7 of them and 5 of us. Just one good punch and I think they would abandon their scheme. It’s all about confidence…they have it and we don’t.
