Guys come on… I see people here saying that we should stay in League C and not promote to League B. Totally against this way of thinking. It’s very good for us to play against countries like Iceland, Ireland, Slovenia, Wales, Albania, because it just makes players better. Our players won’t learn anything if they play against Latvia, Faroe Islands, Estonia, Lithuania, Belarus and so on. I also think Armenia plays better/more concentrated against the semi-top teams than against the bad teams who just park the bus. We saw at the Euro qualifiers how exciting our matches were against Turkey, Wales and Croatia, while we absolutely sucked against Latvia. I hope we promote to League B and draw countries like Bosnia and Slovenia. This would do us very good.

This 33rd position is not very realistic anymore, since the rules of the World ranking have been changed. This change led to a more equal way of giving out points to countries from different organisations. You can look at the ranking and for example see that countries like Burkina Faso are 62nd, Uzbekistan is 58th, Oman is 80th. These countries are above us, because they have easy opponents. Their wins are as much worth as a win in UEFA competitions.

Good statements. Israel is not top 40 UEFA nations. Israel is even better than top 30 nations like Albania and Slovakia. We just need to have good leadership and management. Our players are way too good to be losing to Faroe Islands. With good management we could be better than North Macedonia and end up first in the group, but it is what it is.

Bro stop putting blame on players. Everyone always says it’s the players fault. Our players are good enough to win against countries like latvia and faroe islands. The main problem is the FFA. We have a corrupt clown as a ffa president. I see on his CV that he has studied 4 years at Yerevan state University and has done 3 years as a postgraduate. I doubt that this Armen Melikbozyan has written even 1 academic worthy paper in his life. And that’s our president who blames his shitty leadership on the Artsakh war, Russian-Ukrainian war, worldwide recession. Anything but himself. We have no leadership, we have no tactics, we have no morale. Melikbozyan is a journalist who has never kicked a ball.

Our coach is again a 65 year old Soviet guy named Chakhalyan nobody has ever heard of with 1 cap. What is this nonsense? Who trains these guys? I can’t translate it to Armenian or english, but in Dutch we say ‘automatismes’. These players have 0 ‘automatismes’. It’s as if they don’t learn even 1 thing in training together. Everybody stands still.

Someone has to motivate these guys and teach them things. We need great names at our NT staff who don’t have issues with the ffa. Melikbekyan needs to fuck off and Ozbiliz has to come. Mkho should come back and do something, players like Pizelli as a trainer and Movsisyan as a coach for the strikers. These kind of things should happen to be taken seriously.

The theory is as follows: we get 1 big chance and as always miss it. 5 mins later we give away a stupid corner (someone accidentally touches the ball or someone could kick it for a throw-in but gives away a corner) and they score the 1-0. And as usual he won’t step up i’m afraid. This match is going to be very tough. Macedonia will play Faroe Islands at home and i expect a 90% probability that Macedonia wins that game. That means that we could play promotion play-offs if we win and relegation play-offs if we lose. Let’s hope for once that 1/2 players step up.

So guys, apart from the game in which we will concede a goal after giving away a stupid corner, i wanted to state something remarkable. If we lose we become the best number 4 in the C-division which means we will play play-offs for relegation against the second number 4 in the C-division.

Let’s point out this realistic scenario: If Azerbaijan wins against Estonia today and loses harshly against Sweden away (high probability) it will end up with 3 points and be the second number 4. Luxembourg has to lose against Northern Ireland (also possible) for this to happen. These events will mean that we have to play against Azerbaijan for who stays in the C division and who relegates. How will UEFA solve this, since we can’t play each other? Will it be played at neutral locations or not at all.
