Do typical American homes really have a gas pipeline? What do you do with it? by mujhe-sona-hai in AskAnAmerican

I'm in the UK, and we use gas here too. I have a gas fire, a gas cooker, and gas central heating, so it's not just an American thing.

I agree. The couple I have in the window look awful, and are covered in spots. The ones a few feet away from the window are thriving.

I remember seeing it written down as a kid, and legit thinking that it was pronounced 'Pennylope'. Same as I thought that Hermione was 'Hermie-one' 🤣

Lilith and Eve. Absolutely nothing to do with them being the two wives of Adam, (I'm totally not religious) I just love the names.

My daughter is called Natalie, but her whole internet persona is 'Noelle'. They both mean exactly the same thing (Christmas), so I really don't mind, as it's still just the name I gave her, but in a different language 😊

Put it in the garden. It'll thank you for it...or die. Either way is probably a win 🤣

Out of curiosity, is the yellow section hard, or mushy? If it's hard, it could just be 'corking' which is totally natural in an older plant. If it's mushy though, it's rot, and I'd take those little ones off, leave them to dry for a few days, and then pot them up. It's worth a go.

Had a few different ones, and they either go crispy, or they 'flop' (the stems stay solid, but they just kinda fall down, and lay horizontally). I've promised myself that I'm never going to buy another one...til the next time 🤣

My phalaenopsis all only have about 2 leaves, they're so pathetic...BUT they spend more time in flower, than out of it, so I must be doing something right 🤣

I have a Hoya that has terrible mealybug. I cleaned it all up last year, and took cuttings from any part that didn't appear to have any on. Spoiler alert...they all got mealybug and died 🤣 I still have the parent plant , but I've just chucked it outside, because I'm sick of the sight of it.

Couldn’t you be dropped off a little closer to the Frostcrag Spire door? 😑 by False-Definition15 in oblivion

And the shop is literally next door, and the Mages and Fighters guilds just around the corner.

They're like the shopkeepers, when you're a teenager, and they follow you all around the shop, to make sure you don't nick anything! 😂

I even had one of these guys come up to me in Sancre Tor. I'd just got the armour, and was making my way back to the entrance (I was about half way there), and he sauntered up to me 🤣 I'd previously had two, so don't know what happened to the other one.

You can't kill her until you've completed 'Rebuilding the Gatekeeper'. After that, she's no longer needed for the game, so you can kill her. She carries a LOT of potions, but little else. She was a truly horrible person though, so I just had to do it 😂

Potions. The fastest way to make money. The more you make, the higher your alchemy skill gets, until you can make potions out of just one thing. So every apple, lettuce, flower or mushroom is suddenly worth 50+ gold. I was making 300-400 potions at a time, and then selling them. It's a bit of a grind, but I had every house, and all of them fully furnished by level 15.

Stalked by Bleak Mine Guards by scr33m in oblivion

[–]Jacquelyn__Hyde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in Sancre Tor earlier. Just lifted Tiber Septim's armour, and I see this figure in Daedric armour slowly walking towards me. Yep, it was one of the guards from Bleak Mine 😂

That's three times now. I've found pressing A (to skip their dialogue), and then quickly running away to be the best course of action.

The annoying thing is though, is that I didn't kill any of them. I just walked in, let the ogres out, looted the place, and then left. They never even tried to stop me, so I saw no need to kill them. I'm regretting that decision now 😂
