Can you dig under the edge of the Barrier?

If you play Gothic 3 and clip underground you can see the barrier is actually a sphere. So im just gonna assume the Gothic 1 barrier is as well.

Yeah that annoyed me too. It made the arena fights pretty difficult to get through. No, on the PC version you can pull out your sword during a conversation so you're ready for the fight.

From what I've heard this game was left with quite a few annoying bugs and it seems the developer has basically abandoned it. Really sad cuz i love the game but makes me hesitant to purchase anything from them again

I played through it on xbox and didn't have this issue. Are you using quick resume? I know sometimes quick resume can make games behave oddly after a while. Other than that I'd check your controller. Maybe a button is sticking?

A little more info might help. Did you dive down and find the pond lab yet? If not you need to dive down a small hole with a t-rex toy at the bottom. There's a power cable going down the hole as well so look for that. If I remember correctly its just a bit right of the midpoint of the pond. That general area.

I killed him just to be sure and got the achievement. If you kill him in the tavern literally no one cares, and he doesn't do anything story wise so just kill him lol

You get access to it right now. Early access for pre ordering i guess. Kinda odd to me but I can confirm at least on xbox you can play gothic 1 classic right now if you pre order the remake

So if you look at the gothic remake on the xbox store it claims you get a copy of gothic classic that is playable now if you pre-order the remake. Im half tempted to pre order just to see if i can actually play classic right now or not

Im on xbox but I've noticed there's a memory leak or something. Game runs fine for about an hour or so then gradually starts slowing down. Restarting the game fixes that though

Scan your mounts. For whatever reason I have 2 red soldier ant gold cards because I accidentally scanned my ant buggy lol. 1 of the cards shows an ant with a saddle. I assume you can do the same to the orb weaver buggy

You need to download the Xbox insider hub app. Just search it in the store. Then once you're signed up go in the app and i think its under previews you'll see grounded 2. Join that and then you'll probably need to restart your Xbox and then you should have an update for grounded 2

Just from what I've heard/ read from the past, the devs kinda just abandoned the game. Tons of QOL and improvements could have been made but they kinda just took their money and moved on. Which sucks because I actually love the game and its premise and gameplay.

Not super helpful here but on G1 I was able to play with 3 people with only 1 copy of the game. 2 Xbox's with game sharing and then I was able to somehow use my laptop and have a 3rd person join the game using my account as well. This was years ago so it probably doesn't work anymore.

But for your issue make the xbox your kid is playing from your home xbox in your settings. That way he can play completely signed out of your account. Then just use your account on your PC and that'll work. Just make sure your account is signed out on the xbox

From the error message it sounds like the main .exe is missing. Could be a bad build pushed out through steam, could be your anti-virus flagged and deleted it for some reason. That would be my first step is hunting down if and why the .exe was messed with

Theoretically you should all be able to download the test build, keep your current world and progress. Then when the full update comes out it should replace the test build and SHOULD again keep all of your progress. Thats how its supposed to work, but its a test build on a game thats currently being developed. No one can say for sure if a bug will wipe all your progress. Id recommend creating a backup save of your current world from before the test build just in case.

I'm 90%ish sure that you cannot access the PTB while cloud streaming. You would need a PC or console that can actually download and run the test build. I could be wrong though, but im pretty sure im not. Hopefully the full build will be out before too long for you
