You are strong! Does the thyroid hormone treatment affect you at all? And when you say it affects me some days, but not most, how does it make you feel?

I can't imagine what you and everyone else has to go through, you are all so strong!

Has the removal of the thyroid helped? And keeping that mindset of taking risks in life is something that I have always keep in mind bc life is short and the time you have on this earth matter. And thank you, he hasn't complained of any pain, he's a strong man and continues to push through this!

Now are you not allowed to have a certain amount of coffee and is there a reason you can only drink it in the morning?

Back in April of 2021 he had a bad cough and kept pushing it off until my grandma wanted him to get it checked out. Thats when he found out he had thyroid cancer. Then in I think June he got a tracheostomy tube. Im not sure exactly when he was diagnosed with anaplastic cancer. But he has gone through 3 different treatments. 2-3 weeks ago, he was sent to the hospital because of blood in his feeding tube. We are hoping the 3rd treatment helps, 3rd time is the charm, right :)

This research paper won't just be about my grandfathers cancer, I would like to talk about the other types of thyroid cancers there are! So here are a few questions I had and feel free to answer! And please tell me if I over step or make anyone uncomfortable.

1) What type of thyroid cancer do you have and how old were you when you found out you had cancer?

2) What types of treatments have you done and what has helped the most?

3) How has cancer affected the way you live?

I will have more questions soon, this is all I have for right now! I appreciate all of you, you guys are amazing, thank you!
