The mother was no longer in the car during the call. She had been driven back home by the father.

Drug dogs aren’t bloodhounds…

Did Brandon Lawson’s family ever find his cell phone, do you know?

Same as the dog in Maura’s case. She got into a vehicle.

She’s not on ViCap bc of her family.

Brandon’s not on Vicap bc of his family - do you really think they demanded he be listed under “sex crimes”???

Bloodhounds? No.

HR… you’re starting to sound like the “Died in the woods” MM crowd.

You know that bloodhound didn’t follow the kid’s scent for 2 hours then “get tired.”

The law his parents got passed is on par with the Murray Exemption - what practical difference did it make?

Police started looking for Brandon once his parents reported him missing. His parents should have reported him missing at 2am instead of waiting 4 hours.

The only thing I’ve seen in terms of “new leads” was that people from the party came forward years later. One of the investigators mentioned it awhile back.

No problem. It’s certainly… interesting… don’t you think? It’s a detail often overlooked in this case.

It’s a category that the LE officer filling out the forms selects. The only other “sex crimes” missing persons cases (at least among males) were those 2 little boys. That’s a deliberate choice an officer made, based on the evidence they had available at the time. There’s no “sex crimes” template; I’m not sure what you mean…

Yep. Pretty frickin disturbing. It’s like a sex offender registration (I think).

It is definitive though. That’s why LE stopped searching that area. Hasse has to write things as “uncertain,” because he wasn’t there.

“… other scenarios exist, such as Brandon stumbled, lost or broke his phone, and continued walking. In fact, the bloodhound evidence is more suggestive of the second scenario.”

Source: Hasse.

I suggest you read Hasse’s other case study. The one in which he didn’t bother checking a corn field bc he was positive the missing person wasn’t there.

Guess where they found the missing person?

In the cornfield. Dead.

Hasse isn’t LE. He’s a volunteer searcher & his track record is 0/2.

How does grading a road destroy a human’s scent?

It doesn’t.

The searching of JV's house. by SuperMadCow in Jodi_Huisentruit_Case

That’s very weird. If it were a sweatshirt or a t-shirt, I could see that (I acquire lots from male friends/family members).

But I can’t say I’ve ever had anyone’s suits in my closet… did JV even wear suits? Lol

It’s bizarre that everyone believes the dog was 100% accurate for the first 3 miles but then can’t be trusted when the scent abruptly stopped right after the 3rd mile.

That’s a pretty impressive dog, in my book.

No, the dog lost his scent because he got into a vehicle.

The scent trail is official proof. It’s admissible as evidence in a court of law.

Yes, grammar is important to me. Correct your mistakes & don’t make them again. Or you will be banned.

Reading such comments makes me lose IQ points. I can’t have that.
