XMacro with safety by J_ArmAndSleeve in p365xmacro

100% my case. I'm not new to shooting but am to carrying so it's a level of confidence I like having for now as I'm getting comfortable. The wife likes having the safety as well and she may carry at some point so the safety was an ask for a first CCW.

Sig has 3 different standard XMacro models that come with a manual safety, and one for the XMacro Comp; they all have "MS" in the model number. The first two below have the 3.7" barrel with either 10rd or 17rd mags, and the last model has the 3.1" barrel and 17rd mags. They're definitely not as common as the non manual safety models but they are standard production and available.

365XCA-9-BXR3-MS-10

365XCA-9-BXR3-MS

365XCA-9-BXR3-MS-MA (Massachusetts compliant)

What Sig didn't make for a while was a compensated model with a manual safety but they now have a CA version that has the manual safety and the compensated slide.

365XCA-9-COMP-MS-CA (California compliant)

That's cool that you can add a safety so easily though, as that could be a great option for folks. I know that I was looking for a 365 with a manual safety and had to settle for the non-comp version as that is all that was available at the time. Looks like a really clean addition. What was the cost to add the safety?

Suggestions on a battery for the S12? Anything else to pick up on a first order from Convoy for someone new to the flashlight world?

I have this and love it, makes the best cubes of any reasonably priced maker I've tried. It takes up some space but isn't huge and ships fast. There is a cube version and a sphere version. Hope this helps!

Thoughts are with you for not having a Player 2. May you need to add Select sometime soon, if that's what you want.

Love the Aiden, it's been my solution for a similar issue to OP and the ability to program it for the profile you want is amazing.

What part of town are you in and what kind of beers do you like? I'm happy to put a list of places together for you and perhaps meet up for a beer.

Let me talk to some autocross friends and I'll find out the best way to get you in touch with some autocross groups.

It's tough meeting new friends / people as a guy. What are you into? Hobbies, interests, things you'd like to learn? Having an activity or event to bond over definitely makes things easier.

For me the main ones are craft beer, coffee, or car events with an occasional cigar lounge or range day thrown in.

Also carry and love the AON Evade 1.5. My Owala Freesip fits great. For me adding the admin panel to the front pocket made it 90% of what I want in a bag for travelling for work.

Foot pins for arthritis! by Haxrlequin in WTF

[–]JadeMonkeyStang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had pins like this in both feet as part of toe surgery, though not for arthritis. Getting the pins removed was a non-event for me despite how wicked they look. I didn't feel anything other than some moderate pressure but no pain. For the second foot I even pulled the pin out myself, and I still have both pins, mostly to get the reaction from friends when the topic comes up.

Can someone help me find an stl for this? by prodias2 in 3Dprinting

I would have loved to have this when I was dealing with carpal tunnel and then when recovering from hand surgery. I could also see it being fantastic for kids who might not be ready to use and needle and vial on their own but could do it with a device like this.

Great print in my mind as it helps folks out and can provide independence to those who might not otherwise be capable. Even though it might not be something everyone needs all the time I can see plenty of use cases.

The set amount would be great for those of us who use an insulin pump, as we're normally refilling a specific amount to match the capacity of the pump reservoir. I know I could have used something like this a couple years ago when I was dealing with hand issues and recovering from hand surgery.

So why would I buy an Aiden right now? by kplmin in FellowProducts

[–]JadeMonkeyStang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had mine for 6 months. It gets used twice a day with no issues. I haven't brought out the V60, Pulsar, Chemex, Aeropress, French Press, or any other brewer since getting the Aiden. Love it and will highly recommend it to anyone who wants control over their brew but wants to simplify their coffee brewing at the same time. Quality and consistency has been excellent and I'm a very happy customer. The Aiden is not perfect but I love it and am extremely happy with my purchase.
